Newsletter - This Week In React

I'm editing a weekly newsletter for professional React developers since 2020: thisweekinreact.com

The dev community is quite noisy, and a lot of content produced is low-quality, verbose tutorials, listicles, 101s for juniors, or created for SEO and marketing reasons...

I filter heavily the content so that senior developers can stay up-to-date without investing too much time.

I think I have the credibility to edit this newsletter, as I've been using React since the early days (2013) and I'm now working for Facebook/Meta as a freelancer, leading the Docusaurus open-source project (powering doc sites like React-Native, Jest, Prettier, Babel, Supabase, Solana...)

I also document my story (now monthly) on how I make this newsletter sustainable over time. It was a slow start, but I'm now close to 2K$ MRR.

I would also be happy to have any feedback and discuss with other like-minded newsletter authors trying to make their investment sustainable.

I'm using Revue since before it was acquired by Twitter. Not 100% satisfied but still easy to use and the Twitter integration is making it attractive for growth.

For now, my setup is quite simple, but as they say "do things that don't scale". This newsletter takes me 40% of my time (find content, edit, translate in 2 languages, post everywhere, manage sponsors...)
