I came across this post bookmarking posts on indie hackers last week, I was like, there's a problem, I'll come up a solution for it!
So I spent the whole weekend working on it, here it is. I present to you, IH Bookmarks, a browser extension, a third-party solution for bookmarking and tagging posts on Indie Hackers!

And, I'm planning to allow it to bookmark comments as well! Stay tuned!
IH Bookmarks will be made available next week the latest.
Does it work on FireFox?
PS: I've pre-ordered it anyways, kindly make it work on Firefox.
Imthath, sorry for the long wait, it's now available on Google web store! Gumroad is supposed to send you the license key, please let me know if there's any problem (hopefully no :)
I'm coming late to this, but what about other browsers? I switch Safari and Firefox but never Chrome.
Safari is a bit tricky, I'll try to make it available on Firefox!
Thank you Imthath, my first pre-order user! 😄I'll prepare a firefox release for it!
I don't understand why anyone would want this? I mean all browsers have bookmarks.
True indeed Petr, I updated my post and explained where I got my idea from, this is me trying to come up with a solution to a problem :)
The original OP specifically said that he doesn't want to use third-party services for this, so I am still skeptical.
But whatever, best of luck!
That's also what I said, "whatever, I'm just gonna do it", when I wrote the first line of code, lol. Thanks Petr XD
Ship it fast because it has platform risk...
Hi Molly, thanks, that's exactly what I'm trying to do, I mean "ship it fast". The "platform risk", may I ask what you're referring to?
Cool! Have you considered posting it to the Meta group?
Thanks Levid, will that result me posting duplicated post? Actually, there is a post requesting bookmarking feature, I just replied it with mine :)

Ah, I was so close, lol. Thanks Primer for the vote of confidence, I plan to release it as unpacked extension, it can be loaded in all major browsers. I tried it with both chromium Edge and Chrome, all working well.

Just looked at Apple documentation, building extension for safari nowadays is quite different from other browsers, I'll spend some time on it, brb :)
