While we’re still developing HelloTriangle.io — a platform for online 3D modeling using Python — we’ve also been investing in getting people to the site.
In January, we started a blog and a library of examples to grow organic traffic.
The strategy:
Each blog post and example focuses on a specific topic in mesh generation or 3D modeling.
We optimize around niche but relevant keywords like “hexahedral mesh generation” or “boolean operations on surfaces.”
Posts include real code and visual results.
The results:
Traffic has been doubling every month since Jan.
April passed 100 unique visitors — still limited, but the trend is promising.
All organic. No ads. No social.
We just published a new post on how AI might impact traditional simulation workflows — with some interesting new data that we collected about scientific publication trends.
It definitely takes effort to produce quality technical content — but we believe it’s worth investing early, even pre-launch.
Curious to hear: have others here tried a similar strategy before launching? Did it pay off for you?
