[POLL] I've got 99 start-up names, but I can't pick one 😮💨
Hey hackers,
I'm in the process of renaming my SaaS, and it's HARD. The previous name, exportator.com, didn't convey the values I wanted it to. Also it's mispronounced by most, and overall, quite unremarkable.
Since I'm about to release a brand-new v2, I'd like to take this occasion to rebrand. The software is basically helping Stripe users increase their global sales by deploying multi-currency super easily. Some values the name could focus on:
- Adapting prices massively helps reaching new customers on the international market
- Offering currencies show consideration towards markets that are usually treated as second-class markets (emerging markets for instance)
- Localization (of price) prevents local competitors from taking your market shares
Here's a list of names I've gathered over the week-end, but I have 2 issues: A. I didn't feel love at first sight for any of them. B. I'm not a native speaker, so I'm not sure of how some of those can be perceived.
Any help towards helping me find a good (enough) name will be more than appreciated!

It's the #1 thing blocking me right now, so indeed, I shouldn't waste too much time on it. If I can save me another rebranding later on, that'd be nice, though.

@julesmaregiano I agree with @yxngdano! Pricery.io is a really good name imo.
First misspelling is unlikely, second its short and has a good flow and last but not least it sounds modern and unique :)

I would suggest to go with pricemate
It was my second choice but since there's already a pricemate.info website, I decided to take no risks and just go with pricery. But thanks for your input!
I think pricemate.io works for me, or pricemaster if you can get a good domain.
pricemate is definitely a cool name. And the .io is available. But, as I mentioned to Pradheep, there was another project with that name already, and even though it doesn't look in good shape, I decided to go with pricery.io.
Nice, pricery is pretty decent anyway, just reminds me a bit of the ronery song from Team America 😛 Maybe you can make a theme tune for pricery? "Pricery, f-ck yeah! Gonna change your mother f-cking currencies"
This is a cool business. Well done! Naming has always been hard for me, so I try to stick with names that are easy to say and spell. Out of these, my favorite is pricery.io.
It doesn’t necessarily convey that this is a currency converter, but it rolls off the tongue quite nicely.
