Revenue Generating Product: Needs a Tech Co-Founder.

Hey potential co-founder!!

Nice to meet you... My name is Louis, but call me Lou.

I'm the owner of Spread, who up until recently had a tech co-founder. Sadly, he had to leave as he couldn't hack the startup life with his new 'chief' promotion at his 9-5... :(

That's why I'm here, on the search for a new tech co-founder who can propel us forward into the next chapter (product market fit and some juicy MRR). I have created a few hundred $$$ in revenue, but this is not consistent.

I'm a second time founder who is the marketing/business guru. I'm on here trying to find my better half... a techie co-founder.

Introduction to Spread

Spread is a content repurposing platform. We help content marketers to create more content from their existing content - using AI and automation.

After watching a youtube video on how a famous content creator repurposed their content into different formats and mediums I became obsessed with automating the idea. Something a lot of creators are after.

Currently I have two repurposing workflows implemented into Spread:

1. Transforming video and audio content into blog posts
2. Transforming YT videos into short video clips for social media

These have both been built via foreign freelancers and thus is a little buggy, but there is demand (and competitors) for this product and it's features.

These features we're built using 3 exclusive API's:

• GPT3
• PepperType
• Jenni.ai (to be implemented soon)

Since starting Spread I have had over 1500+ waitlisted users, thousands in traffic, and 900+ total confirmed users. I have generated a few $$$ worth of revenue over this time, but nothing worth shouting about (yet)!

This is a product with a tonne of potential. I just need the tech guru (that's you) to help me past that first finish line to start making it a reality.

The next step for Spread

I want to dumb down the product and focus on one singular repurposing workflow - instead of overcomplicaing it with two. We can utilise what we already have built, but now focus on quality, hammering out bugs, and creating an incredible singular repurposing workflow.

We can also use this oppurtunity to streamline the onboarding process.

Once we have one repurposing workflow (that really works) I will go balls to the wall when it comes to marketing and use everything I can to make the MRR flood in. We already have consistent traffic and user signups (one per day on average), but this is just the beginning.

What I'm offering

As a co-founder of mine we split everything 51/49. The profit, costs, equity, and everything else is split fairly.

The extra 2% for me is due to me having the original idea and bringing it this far along.

I'm offering the Indie dream. A small but extremely profitable startup, with a close knit team of wonderful people that enjoy their everyday working life. This is my mission. This will be our (and our teams) future.

Introduction to you

The product is working, but it is very clunky and hard to use. This is where you come in. I need a tech guru who can take this mediocre SaaS platform, and together make it into something special.

There is a big demand for this type of product as a hundred competitors have popped up since I originally posted on IndieHackers. Luckily I understand this industry better than most and I know we can make the best product out there. Not only are there plenty of competitors, but there have been thousands of sign ups and waitlisted users. The demand for Spread is actually a little pressuring!
