I love shipping consumer MVPs. I have been doing this work for many years. My first work on an MVP was Meetup.com's inaugural revenue-generating service where I enrolled the first 200 paying customers in a SAAS offering (small business owners like bookshops, cafes and bowling alleys).
Since then, I have led strategic product and marketing roles at SAAS companies that generate millions of dollars in annual revenue. Currently, I consult with startups to help them accelerate finding product-market fit.
My proposition:
Send me a link to your MVP and a bulleted list of items on your development roadmap.
I will join you on a call to share my feedback, ask pointed questions and help you clarify what high-leverage activities you should pursuing.
That will be great: https://talktroop.com
Product Hunt: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/talktroop-become-a-smarter-marketer
I'm in the stage of validating the product.
Cool idea. It would be interesting to know what % of sales are lost due to the product page after the ad.
Hi,
Thanks for your feedback. I'm interested as well as this experiment might revolutionize the way people market online.

Hello Billy,
Marc Dixon here, San Francisco native and artist/musician/inventor with Life Lines Art Animation.
My background is in Autism (ABA), and play intervention (US Patent 5,895,304)...but I have recently committed to exploring the Brain - Art connection, general stress reduction, and relaxation using my animated artwork, as collaborated with Dennis Gaines.
I'm seeking co-founder, team-mates, partners, and advisors currently, for an App for Guided-Breathing, Music, Mindfulness, and Relaxation...I'd love any comments or feedback and/or to discuss were I currently stand and need to go on the project.
My App sets itself apart from mindfulness and relaxation Apps such as Calm, MindMeister, Headspace, Sattva etc...because of the minimalism abstract animated art (https://www.instagram.com/life_lines_art/), as well as customizable music selection.
Also, no sunsets, snow capped mountains, or cartoon figures, to attach your mind and thoughts to.
The basis is a "4-7-8" breathing (Pranayama), along with watching the visual, and listening to the soothing music...inhale slowly 4 seconds through your nose, hold 7 seconds (counted slowly), exhale strong 8 seconds (counted slowly) through your mouth.
Repeat three more times. This technique is advocated by many medical doctors and proven by science to lower high blood pressure, improve diabetes, improve hypertension, and reduce stress in general.
There is also emerging evidence, that abstract art effects the brain in such ways as creating new neuro-connections, stimulating divergent thinking, increasing productivity, and "stimulates higher-level areas of the brain, responsible for creativity and imagination" (Neuro scientist Dr. Kandel).

Hey Billy, your time is appreciated. 🎉
I've been putting together https://hookdeck.io, the product is now usable with 3 active users. I would be really interested to know what approach you would take to grow that to 200.
I would love to hear your feedback. Thank you :)

Hey 👋 I’m really trying to get 10 paying customers this week and would love to learn what I need to focus on. It’s less about product now and more about sales but if you find any holes that need patching I’d love to learn.

Hey there Billy. Thanks for doing this.
I am working on a platform called Creatorlist where college students can collaborate for their projects. They can find teammates, join other projects or launch their project.
www.creatorlist.tech
As of now, these are the features available :
I have conducted workshops in which I used the platform to help the students form teams, and have featured the winners of the end-workshop hackathon in the Featured section of the website.
Right now I am working on finding the right set of features, retaining users and promoting the platform.
Working on a website builder for SaaS companies so a good fit :)

Hi @billybicket
I'm currently working on a side project on https://targetaudience.app which started as a tool for myself. For now, it helps you analyse Instagram accounts for which hashtags they use the most and to generate a list of hashtags which you can use for your own account. My roadmap for the upcoming weeks is to validate two things
I have the feeling now, that I do not solve a big enough problem yet, therefore I will ask indie hackers what their biggest problem is when they start an Instagram for their project.
Thanks in advance!
Sjors

Thanks Billy.
I'm trying to get some feedback to validate my product, Pixl, flying AI sidekick.
https://www.heypixl.com/
Landing page is missing a CTA, I have no idea what the CTA should be. I'm stuck on that but any feedback is helpful. :)
My question is:
Does it work?
In theory and in python/unity simulations. I'm waiting for funding to print the prototype. Any feedback?
PS: For CTA: Let them subscribe to an email newsletter where you update your subscribers about the development process.
Thank you. This was my first thought, but I can't remember the last time I signed up for a newsletter so I don't expect my audience to do it either. Trying to think of another incentive.
You want to get your potential customers to keep updated, so they don't forget your product after they left your website.
So, an email newsletter is the best solution.
Agree with @ChristianLutz
That was my feedback.
People want to know if it would really work.
What does it cost to build this prototype?
About two/three weeks, multiple builds, and around $1500 to create a drone prototype.
I'm hoping to push AI features over the air as they are ready
What are you able to promise people/users that you can deliver on right now?
Drone Mode + Hand Gesture Control.
I wanted to appeal to drone enthusiast get funding for the first round. I don't have the money or time to add more in the MVP.
Would you buy the product with just those features? Or you need more?
That would be much appreciated @billybicket! Our platform is PlanDrive (https://www.plandrive.com/). We are aiming the design and construction industries to help them distribute their drawings more efficiently and take back control from lost emails/sea of DropBox links being thrown around.
We are mainly focused on the user-experience, so for the foreseeable future we are talking directly to our customers and shaping the product in ways that they have requested but walking a fine-line between building bespoke features and generalising them so it's useful for everyone.
Hey Billy!
I am working on a marketplace called 9thFloor (https://ninth-flr.com). In there you can find designs by independent graphic designers turned into art. Through this platform we want to promote the empowerment of all those designers who want to live from what they like and are good at: designing. The designer just needs to upload the design and the platform will take care of promoting, printing and selling the creations as posters.
Any idea??
Hey Billy!
Thats a very cool idea, thank you for that already!
I'm working on splitbee.io an (product) analytics & A/B testing platform.
My current tasks I'm working on are:
If you don't have a website to embed Splitbee on, just ping me and I'll add you to a project!
Thank you! :)
Hi Tobias!
Here's my initial feedback.
Relevant Resource:
Julian.com writing on landing pages https://www.julian.com/guide/growth/landing-pages
Hey Billy!
Thanks a lot for that great feedback, I appreciate it :)
I already implemented some of those points!
Here's an exercise for future discussion. It's called, "This I believe."
I believe ______ (target customer defined as tightly as possible) has [ this problem ) every _________. This causes them to _________. They would be willing to pay ____ every ____ (frequency of payments/week?/month?/year?) to make it go away.
Remember: Your landing page is just a sales page that makes a promise and collects an email address. Better to start collecting emails vs. loses people with too much information.
