Tripetto.com - For making smarter forms and surveys
Effective forms have conversation-like flows, which only really work with the proper logic. Building the right logic can be challenging. Tripetto solves this with its clever self-organizing drawing board for visually composing and editing truly multibranch forms and surveys.
awesome, i think you can make it more concise.
CryptoTrader.Tax The easiest way to report cryptocurrency trading on your tax return.
Great idea. Huge potential. I've used https://bitcoin.tax (which is throwing a 502 error right now WTF, lol)
How are you better?
The main difference between us and them is the improved historical data source and ease of use. One of the reasons we decided to build CTT was other tools always defaulting to end of day prices when assigning your trades to fair market value.
This made a lot of reports quite inaccurate as I would trade many times throughout the day.
I really like this idea! Niche and early to market. I like this idea so much I'd be interested in investing.
How does this tie in/work with tools like H&R Block or TurboTax? Do they accept your exported data?
Thanks! And that is correct, we worked with TT this past tax season to create a report format that can be directly uploaded into TurboTax Online!

A sports analytics app for [a sport]. Have you seen the movie "money ball"? Lots of folks spend tons of money on [this sport], but don't have a way to track their performance from their smart phone or computer.
Just my $0.02 obviously you should always get additional feedback.
Currently it's to long winded and doesn't flow well. It's almost asking someone to answer a question re: have they seen money ball in the middle of your pitch.
Something that might work better he is the following format.
Sports analytics for [sport].
I envision an advert that is that text and cycles through each sport [golf], [baseball] [basketball], ending on [ALL]. One of the big tech companies has a similar advert it's either AWS, Azure, or Google.

Notyfy.co - A chrome Extension that aggregates your web notifications in one place.
Not entirely sure if the productivity approach is better: A chrome extension to help you stay focused by grouping all notifications in one place, so you don't have to check the sites all the time. (along these lines)
What do you think?
Before clinking your link here is what I envisioned your app doing.
Silencing all in browser notifications such as slack (web) and allowing me to go to a central place to catch up. However it looks a bit more social oriented.
Overall I like the extension and the tagline. I'd recommend shortening it to
"Aggregate your web notifications in one place"
Also any support for firefox? Why does it need to be an extension compared to a web app? I think the word 'extension' in the tagline is what made me think it would aggregate active notifications/popups from slack web client.
Hey Winslow, thank you so much for your feedback! It makes sense to me how you explained it.
I heard migrating chrome extensions to firefox is pretty straight forward, gonna do that.
Newny.io - A Discord like application for lecturers to host fruitful conversations with their students.
Ps. Looking for a technical cofounder, if you're interested or want more info, hit my email up :)
Cool idea but strip away the start. "A discord like application ... " sucks.
Believe it or not 50% of people won't know what Discord is. The copy on your landing page is better.
Perhaps something like
We bridge the gap between lecturers and students
Thank you Harry!
I only used the discord line on HI, to make it easier to understand but you're totally right. not the best way to explain the concept.
I like that suggestion.

AIDDT: Repurpose old drugs for new diseases with our AI-powered dashboard. API access coming soon. Visit: https://mailchi.mp/522ea856b2ed/aiddt
Overall, I really like the tag line and the idea. I think it can be shortened just a bit
"Repurpose old drugs for new diseases with AI"
I'd be curious to know what FDA stuff you've looked into. That's going to be a potentially huge hurtle.
Are you building the AI or will this be similar to Microsoft's AI Azure tools? Also if your AI truly does find new purposes this could be huge for pharma's. If this tool is able to find use cases such as Viagra initially targeting heart health/function but instead finding it's effectiveness as an ED medicine it could mean millions if not billions for a pharma company. You should price accordingly depending on what your tool does.
Hey, thanks for the suggestion :)
I haven't really gotten around to the FDA aspect mostly because I will not directly be developing drugs; rather the AI-based software I developed can be used to quickly prototype and screen novel molecules for similar properties to existing drugs. AFAIK software used by pharma companies is not regulated, the companies themselves are.
This is one of my side projects. I have a few friends in pharma who like the idea so I am pursuing this :)

Cool projects, how will the dispute system work?
@lucasthewalter First up, am a big fan of CryptoTrader.Tax, never thought would connect with someone who built a known product. Thanks for checking out this post :)
My half-baked theory to dispute system is - An escrow contract, where the customer locks up Ether, and upon the task marked "Done", if both parties sign OK, we send the money to the payee, either party contests, say the customer is unhappy or the payee is unhappy, say there is a disagreement, they can press a button to arbitrate. The network will have validators, who stake my token and/or are ether, and vote if say 6/10 vote alike, 6 wins, and 4 lose, losers stake is split between winners, and the house always wins (always takes a cut). We will have a central logic that chooses the validators at random (with a few filter conditions).
Of course, am still thinking about the crypto-economic incentive of my token, whatever is finally chosen, the token will be central to the network effect. So, far I have concluded that there will be only 1 token, which could be used to pay for network activity, as well as will be minted by activity. There will be an implicit/gentle pressure to use this token, instead of paying a 2.5% fee. These tokens will be worthless initially, with the promise that if I raise venture money, we will buyback. Basically, a regulated ICO, sort of.
What's your thought on this? Any obvious gap, am overlooking?
Could we also connect offline, my Gmail is sgdheeban@gmail.com. .. This crypto space is very lonely right now, looking for like-minded people to connect with. Please drop a message, would be glad.
I'd love feedback on my product's description:
Time Garden - A social tool for time management. Log what you've done every hour and see your friends' productivity level to get motivated.
I love the name. I'm a little skeptical on it being a social tool.
I love the name because it made me initially think this was related to actual gardening. I'm not personally into social aspects of applications to much (deleted facebook) so I may not be the target audience for this. However, what I would find interesting is a time tracker either automatic like RescueTime or manual that relates my productivity to tending of a virtual garden and my garden does well depending on my productivity.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts @Winslow!
I definitely want to build in a [gardening] aspect but I'm still brainstorming the interface for this part. Right now it's a website where you can customize your own dichotomies (happy vs unhappy, productive vs unproductive, etc) and you can select where you sit on those dimensions for each of your hour.
Re: social aspect. It's not a huge part of the app, as you can only see the latest log from your friends. The thought behind it is that it gives you a sense that there are other people participating as well.
I'd echo what @winslow says, especially as time management is related to work. Who would these 'friends' be? And is it right that they share stats/data outside of their direct work environment?
So far with the beta testers they don't share details about their work, instead they'd log [prototype for work]. I believe the concern is real and we will be looking into implementing features to keep your logs private.
https://hq.network/vpn – The easiest thing you can do to keep yourself safe online. Blocks known malware, ads, trackers, and phishing sites + encrypts your traffic.
Nice pitch. If it doesn't take long to setup, it would be good to weave that in as well.
For example:
"Make yourself safe online in 5 minutes. Blocks known malware, ads, trackers and phishing sites + encrypts your traffic."
That doesn't read that great actually, but hopefully you know what I'm alluding to.
What about...
Get peace of mind online. Block ads, malware, phishing, and trackers in less than 10 minutes.
Yes, thats good.

newclick.io - Trusted Cloud Technology for Your Business
😅 Now before you roll your eyes... Cut me a bit of slack... I'm working on it
Before clicking your link here is what your tagline makes me think and visualize:
After clicking your link:
One thing I initially missed is the services page has multiple services for some reason I assumed it was only the first one something needs to get me to keep scrolling.
Points well taken. Thanks!
I've been working on clarifying the services and will be updating the site soon.. Will definitely give some thought into support pricing. Right now it's not a product, it's more of a service-based consulting business.
Funny you mentioned Shotgun because I was jotting down some ideas today and that came to mind. I've worked with it extensively and should offer some sort of integration or service around that.
Do you have experience working in computer graphics?
Service based consulting makes a bit more sense given the context. Are you going to focus on the computer graphics/animation industry?
I have experience in computer graphics but not within the animation industry. Biomedical autocad applications for implant design (OpenGL, WebGL, VTK). However, my SO works for a well known animation studio.
Are you going to Siggraph next week?
Yep, I'm focusing on VFX studios, production studios, and media agencies. I have a background in VFX and movie production so that seems like a logical audience to work with.
and wow, that sounds very tech. What is Biomedial? Are you creating some sort of Biotech models in AutoCAD/WebGL?
Will definitely be at Siggraph but don't plan on going into the convention center, lol. I'm just gonna hang out in the lobby of the JW Marriot next to LA Live. I have a few meetings set up already... that's where all the business meetings take place anyways. Gonna try and meet some people and network. I went two years ago, super fun! Will probably try and sneak in and catch some talks 😈
What about you? Are you going? We should meet up if you are.
Whoops typo. I meant biomedical. I don't currently work there but it was software for designing joint implants specifically knee implants. I worked on building a web client that also natively compiled to iOS and Android using WebGL and Three.JS
Glad to hear you have some business meetings setup! I don't have a ticket but my SO does. Definitely interested in meeting up and connecting at some point in the future as I'm in the area.
unfaint.com - A no frills domain marketplace. Sellers can list for free and own the relationship with their buyers.
Pitch is short and intriguing, but without clicking, I wasn't sure what your value-add is. If it's free and no frill... are you providing a huge customer base? Why is this better than a "frills" site?
Now that I've clicked, I don't see anything about business model. That makes me think you might be selling seller data? If not, would be helpful to describe the long-term plan or why you are running it if you if you are hosting for free.
Thanks for the feedback, those are some good points. Is this better?
"Unfaint is a free and simple domain marketplace".
Business model is that sellers can choose a premium listing, which makes it stand out more. I'll add some info to the about page for that.
Edit: To be clear, I'm not selling any data!
Got it - yea would make the model clear from about, that sounds like a reasonable model.
What about - Unfaint - minimalist domain marketplace, buy and list for free. Or ...basic listing is free.
Not sure that’s better, but seems like “simple” could be swapped for something stronger.
CastChamp - A database of 100k+ podcasters. We make it easy for businesses to find podcasts with an audience that matches their customers and reach out for an ad spot.

Edit 🎯: A database of 100k+ podcasters. Find targeted podcast audiences for ads
Site: https://castchamp.landen.co/ 🤙
"A database of 100k+ podcasters". The "100k+" part is certainly compelling.
Although my eyes kind of glazed over at the rest of the spiel.
How about: A database of 100k+ podcasters. Businesses can find a targeted podcast audience for their ad spots.
Even more concise:
A database of 100k+ podcasters. Find targeted podcast audiences for ads 🎯
Beautiful revision✨ Thanks @unfaintdotcom
Pretty good pitch! Clear and to the point.
IMO, you could make the language more active and do a slightly better job of describing the pain you solve/value you add.
Thanks for the advice Louis! You're right about discovering the precise pain. My hypothesis for the target audience is:
Me and my cofounder @derickchenyr need to find out the size of the market. Currently, it seems large but podcast advertising is still working its way into the mainstream ad strategies people use. So we think timing will play a large part in things
