Social media as an introvert
As an introvert I don't like social media. Or it could just be me. I don't know. Social media aren't the place where I want to hang out. Too much shouting, too much bullshit (sorry for the language).
Yet, for my business - I'm starting an e-commerce website - it feels like a necessity to be active on and Facebook and Instagram (both posts and stories obviously) and Pinterest.
I tried an automated content curation tool (not of any value for me because English content only, and eh my audience speaks Dutch).
Any ideas how I can do things differently?

I understand. I stopped using social media for almost an year now! It feels great! But I have an IG page to promote my side project.
How do I do that?
I use trello as a reminder to engage on IG each day.
Each time I log into IG I set a timer for about 2 hours in total
During these 2 hours I post stuff and engage with my audience.I don't do it in one sitting, but split the 2 hours throughout the day and I use trello to track it.
When I am inside IG (ohh here comes the tough part!) I make sure that I don't get distracted. I go by strict rules-No checking other accounts, no engaging with stupid and irrelevant comments, Don't go anywhere near Explorer page, Notifications turned off etc.

I use social media not because I like it but it's a necessity - to become RICH.
Don't care about others. You are on a secret mission to make money while they are wasting their time.
Keep yourself accountable. It's definitely not going to be easy, but trust me, if you can develop the mental strength you are gonna go places.

I'm not sure it's a necessity to be honest. It's crowded like crazy, and of little value. I could be wrong of course, I don't like social media that much either ;)

people spend a lot of time on their phones and more than 50% of that time is spent on social media. So if you want to get to your customers, you have to get on social media.
Word of mouth and other forms of marketing still exist but social media is relatively cheap.

As a fellow introvert, I feel your pain. But as a business owner, it’s important to get yourself and your product out there for the world to see it, and social media is the best way. So I say forget what feels comfortable and just get out there and do it!
Always start with your target market, and work backwards from there. Who are they? Where are they? What do they like? What’s the best way to reach them?
Once you figure that out, go to them and provide value first. Be helpful, build social capital. This will take time, and a lot of giving before you start getting anything in return.
Once people know that you’re reliable and trustworthy, as well as helpful, selling your product becomes “easier” (it’s never really easy, but putting yourself in that position ahead of time helps a ton).
