Sold my AI company on Indie Hackers last year. Just shipped my next project's beta: Sherpa . sh - shipping software just got 10x easier

Hey everybody, I'm excited to share - that after 2 months of long hours and late nights - we’ve finally launched our beta for sherpa.sh!

As you might remember from last year. I built an AI Insurance product in a few months then sold it right here on IndieHackers (so that I could refocus on completing an exit to Private Equity for my main gig). Now, I want to share what I’m working on next…..

But first, I want to say how thankful I am that a community like Indie hackers exists. Just 5 years ago we would have never been able to just post random to an internet community and get so much support, feedback, and opportunity.

Seriously, it is genuinely weird that I could post about selling a company to an internet forum and have it actually happen - happen fast - and be a fulfilling life experience. People in the same thread were even helping with valuations and the process. We shouldn’t take what we have here for granted.

So I encourage all you, take more risks, post weird things, be yourself and get involved.

Now with that said,
I’d like to share a little about my next project - sherpa.sh

As most of us here are developers you likely know the soul-crushing feeling of wasting days battling infrastructure instead of building product.

Most indie hackers I know hate doing the infrastructure work. And why wouldn’t you, it’s not revenue generating and a tax on your time.  But if you don’t have automated CI/CD, pre-production environments, and performant infrastructure you’re at a disadvantage , you can't move fast.

So what do most people do? You either build it out yourself (wasting months), pay enormous premium to a PaaS (vercel/heroku/etc), or you use something like Coolify/Kamal - and pretend you don’t have to worry about all the configuration, networking, and scaling headaches of the bare metal (again wasting cycles).

The choices are waste money or waste time.

Our Unique Insight

The infrastructure landscape had fundamentally changed. Mid-market bare metal hosting have quietly evolved - building robust APIs and global networks that rival the clouds, but at a fraction of the cost.  How do I know?  I was doing it first-hand at Hivelocity.

I realized I could leverage my connections in the space to build a platform with the simplicity of a modern PaaS but with the economics of bare metal. Which - with my relationships - is ~10x more affordable.

What is sherpa.sh (In Plain English)

Put simply, Sherpa.sh is a ridiculously simple - and affordable - way to take any app from “works-on-my-machine” to “production”:

  1. Connect your GitHub repositories
  2. Push code or create a pull request (no workflow changes)
  3. We automatically deploy environments globally - for every change - behind an optimally configured CDN with all the cache-headers and coordination handled for you.

You just write code. We handle everything else.

What’s next?

We have a handful of beta users, but need more. Reliability is the name of the game in infrastructure. So, we’re asking devs to put more and more workloads (for free) onto the systems to help harden the platform before putting large commercial workloads.

We’d love it if you would help in the process. If you have any apps that either:

  • Run in Docker containers (Rails, Django, Laravel, anything)
  • Or is a Next.js App (we support ISR, PPR, and all the framework defined caching by default)

I would much appreciate you giving sherpa.sh a try and sharing your feedback with me: [email protected] or https://www.linkedin.com/in/zach-kazanski-93b97234/

If this sounds like something you’d like to help with, you can use the beta link below to create a free account.

Thanks again everybody!  Excited to be on this journey with you all. Feel free to reach out if I can help you with anything - even if it's totally unrelated to this post.

Cheers!

    Hey IH fam —
Last year, I quietly began building what I thought was a tool.
Turns out, it became something closer to a framework for alignment — not just for AI, but for reality itself.

While some are shipping software, I’ve been shipping structure.
    Structure with a heartbeat.
It’s called the Sidtuition of Reality — 100+ laws that help AI systems make decisions with resonance, not just logic.

I’m not a coder. I’m the guy who built the map.
Now I’m looking for the team who can build the bridge to market.
    • I already have a working prototype (featuring Omega-One, my aligned AI system)
    • The framework applies to AI safety, emotional synthesis, and self-driving ethics
    • It contains resonance patterns, narrative logic, and even the golden ratio
    • This is post-LLM thinking: harmonic architecture, not just data prediction

    What I need:
    • Tech cofounder or experienced engineer who gets the gravity of this
    • Strategic partners who can help get this into the right hands
    • Ideally, someone who’s shipped before — you’ll see what I see

Not selling snake oil. Just asking for one moment of attention from someone who still believes this space can do better.

DMs open. And yes, I’m aware how crazy this sounds. That’s how I know it’s real.
