I'm a veteran freelance copywriter (15+ years experience) looking to trade landing page feedback here. π
I'll give copy-focused feedback on your landing page in return for overall feedback on my landing page at getoverjoy.com. Overjoy is a SaaS app that helps businesses get more 5 star reviews from customers.
I would specifically like to know what unanswered questions you have after checking out my landing page.
Look forward to seeing some of your landing pages! π
Hi Tash,
Overall it looks really good. Well done.
Here are my initial thoughts.
That's what came to mind, and I hope it's helpful.
Here is my landing page: planzer.io
My copywriting is super weak, so prepare yourself. It's something I'm working on. Hopefully, I can learn a lot from your feedback.
Hi @phillipstemann, really appreciate your feedback. In response to your points:
My feedback for Planzer:
Hope that's helpful - please let me know if you have any follow-up questions!
This is super helpful, right on! Thank you so much!
how would you determine which customer is likely to rate you better? sentiment analysis of feedback?
biggest hurdle is in getting feedback from the customers. Most customers don't respond well to forms that require them to write that is the reason they are generally given a pop up to select their ratings and generally companies provide form later when they get positive rating. You are approaching it from other angle so i am cusrious to know why chose it this way?
Hey @pdyc, determining sentiment is based on quantitative data at the moment (high customer ratings = positive sentiment). In future I could add automated sentiment analysis of text as well.
The surveys we use are generally single response (e.g. NPS score, 5 star ratings) rather than collecting detailed written feedback, so they are optimised for high response rates.
Will try to better incorporate this information on the landing page - thanks! Is there anything I can provide feedback on in response?
thanks for the offer will take it up when i have something :-)
Center the top section of the web page, its off to the left. Only use the chunky font for your logo - I can barely tell that "get more" is two words due to the chunkiness and its hard to read. Only one "get early access button needed at the top - too early for the one under the first text block. Second block - the "Alexis Smith" graphic on the second block doesn't really make sense like is that an interface control - what am I looking at? Block 5, black background - text on the right should not be two columns. Block 6 - wrench image should be a photo not a graphic, all your art is photos then you switch to a graphic . Make the supported platforms bulleted lists one platform per bullet, I know its a lot but its unreadable/visually searchable - who cares if it looks long - it serves to show how many platforms you cover. Block 7 - again a graphic but not even from the same "family" as the one above - blue background suddenly - try just rotating through white, gray, black. Move the FAQ below the ask for early access - let it serve to catch the timid that need more info - all you are "selling" to this point is an update on your progress, you've said enough. On the form it says "Enter your email address to subscribe " change that to "Enter your email address to be notified of our launch"
Okay hit mine - https://gbppilot.com
Hey - thanks so much! Some great suggestions in there. I particularly like the idea to move the FAQ below the early access list signup section.

Hi @julienziadeh, thank you for taking the time to leave detailed feedback - really appreciate it!
I feel like I owe you some feedback in return on your own website/project if you have one?
Since you included a lot of points I won't respond to each one individually, but you've given me a lot to think about. I'm attached to some of the visual/stylistic elements that you weren't a big fan of - I suppose some of those things are just a matter of taste! But will keep showing to people and keep an eye out for any repeated feedback.
It was really illuminating to me that you struggled to understand what Overjoy is. I'll keep working on that. Part of the issue is that I'm still working on the prototype so don't have any visuals yet - I think some visuals/GIFs/video will help a lot, as you suggested. Essentially, it's a customer feedback tool that lets you take automated actions based on customer responses (for example, asking for a review).
Great idea to include a Use Cases section as well - I will add that.
Thanks Julien and please let me know if I can provide some feedback to you in return.
