Been researching the fact-checking market for VerifyAI. Found something interesting about how people actually use AI:
Individual users: Most people know AI hallucinates but keep using it anyway. Convenience beats accuracy. We fact-check important stuff manually (takes 15-20 mins) or just... don't.
Businesses: Different story. Legal firms got sanctioned for fake case citations. Companies pulled marketing campaigns over false AI-generated stats. One employee transferred $25M after a deepfake CEO call.
The gap is wild: consumers accept AI errors as "good enough" while enterprises face million-dollar liability when AI gets it wrong.
Two different markets:
- B2C: Education problem (people don't realize the risk)
- B2B: Risk management problem (they know but lack tools)
Building verification tools for both, but the willingness to pay is night and day. Anyone else seeing this consumer vs enterprise split in AI adoption? How do you bridge markets with such different risk tolerance?
