The story behind Billing Now
The Problem: We used so far Invoice2Go. You have to click through 5 different menus just to create a client, draft an estimate, and send an invoice. And then, no report with VAT taxes balance, we had to compute those by ourselves.
What we built: We decided to build Billing Now with two core principles in mind:
A "Notion-style" UI for the invoice , estimates generation: Clean, minimalist, and frictionless.
AI functionality : We integrated a conversational AI assistant. Instead of navigating the software, you can literally just type or use voice commands: "Create a new client profile for Client A," or "Draft a $1,200 invoice for the website redesign and send it to Sarah." The AI acts as the backend and does it.
