👋 Hey fellow Indie Hackers!
I'm a UK developer looking for a project to get stuck into. I'm played around with several side projects of my own in the past, but nothing that I've felt confident enough in really taking forwards as a viable business.
I have a strong technical background - I've worked for a web development agency for the past 10 years as a full-stack developer. Whilst I initially focused on marketing type CMS driven websites, For the past 7 years or so I've been focused on building web applications both front & back end) - I've worked on projects for start ups and established businesses across a range of sectors. Here's a one line summary of recent projects I've built;
☎️ Web app to manage the workload across two call centres for an insurance company
📹 A SaaS product that delivers video-based online training programs to a particular niche
🎓 A browser based learning platform for children with 2-way video conferencing (front-end only)
🛥 A SaaS product that manages maintenance programs onboard luxury motor boats
🛍 A bespoke online web store (heavy 3rd party API integration) to sell a range of niche products internationally
🚐 A web app that manages the stock for a large retailer of luxury motorhomes (RVs)
I also take on some small scale freelance projects - although I hope to replace this work with a side project! My current go-to development stack is PHP / Laravel / Laravel Livewire / Vue.js / Alpine JS / Tailwind CSS.
I'm now looking for a good (web based) side project that I can get stuck into - bringing along my technical skills and experience - hopefully to pair up with someone / some people that have an idea and can bring experience of marketing / business / design. At this stage, I'm open to hearing about opportunities for all sorts of project ideas / niches.
For the sake of simplicity, I'd prefer to partner up with someone UK based, but would consider international partners if it felt like a good fit. At the moment I still have a full time job and a life - so this would be a side project for me until (if) things really take off in a profitable way.
If this sounds interesting to you, feel free to drop me a message on here and we can chat further.

Good luck!
Hey!
Sounds interesting.
I currently have a SaaS project going on, where I'd need a backend Co-Founder. Based on your tech tack, you could totally fit in (we're using PHP for backend, react for frontend (frontend is on my shoulders. btw; love the fact, that you've used tailwind css. hint: it's my css framework of choice :D).
The project is called 'Julbul'; Julbul is a business video hosting platform. Julbul helps gain control over your brand by providing a customizable video player and other functions..
