Update #3 — Launching on Product Hunt this Thursday!
Dan Martell talks about email triage in Buy Back Your Time.
Hiring an EA to do it costs $3,000/month.
I built the same system inside Telegram for $39/month.
Zero coding background. 57 years old. Korea.
Still at 0 paying users. Launching anyway.
Support appreciated 🙏

Following this — I'm in a similar spot with two small launches (an
AI UI tool and a legal doc generator), both sitting near-zero on
signups a week or so in. What's helped me keep momentum isn't
optimism, it's just having a couple of concrete numbers I'm watching
(click-through, not just impressions) so "zero" doesn't feel as
undefined. Good luck with Thursday — curious what channel you're
leaning on hardest for the actual push.
I've been guilty of waiting for the "right" moment to launch that never comes. One thing I'd test is to put the $3k/mo EA comparison right in your headline/tagline instead of burying it. That's your actual target, people don't compare you to other Telegram bots, they compare you to hiring someone. Happy to swap notes on framing if useful.
🚀 Just launched on Product Hunt today!
Would love your support 🙏

Launching before you have customers takes a different kind of confidence than launching after traction.
One thing that stood out is the comparison with hiring an EA. If people immediately understand what expensive alternative you're replacing, the conversation shifts from "why should I try this?" to "is this good enough to replace what I'm already paying for?" That's a much stronger starting point.
Exactly — and that reframe was the key insight I was missing for months.
I kept trying to explain "AI email triage via Telegram" and people's eyes glazed over.
The moment I framed it as "Dan Martell's EA system for $39/month instead of $3,000" — the conversation changed immediately.
Still figuring out if it's "good enough to replace what they're paying for."
That's exactly what Thursday's PH launch is for.
Thanks for articulating that better than I could.
Interesting.
Reading your reply made me think less about the positioning itself and more about what the product quietly commits itself to once it starts asking customers to replace a trusted workflow instead of adopt a new tool.
I don't think I can explain that line of reasoning properly in a thread without oversimplifying it.
If you're interested, what's the best email to reach you on?
Absolutely — and I'd genuinely welcome that conversation.

Looking forward to it.
Thanks! I’ve just sent it over.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts whenever you have a chance.
Respect for shipping anyway. "Still at 0 but launching" is the most honest indie hacker update I've seen this week. The Product Hunt audience respects the build-in-public persistence way more than a polished facade. Good luck Thursday.
That means a lot — genuinely.
"Still at 0 but launching" wasn't supposed to be a strategy. It's just the truth.
But maybe that's the point. The most dangerous thing I could do is wait until it feels safe.
See you Thursday.
