I’m exploring a simple idea called RefundGuard, and before building anything real, I’m trying to understand whether other founders run into the same pain I see.
Many Stripe disputes aren’t lost because the customer is right — they’re lost because:
the dispute email gets buried
gathering logs/evidence takes too long
founders respond late
evidence is weak or incomplete
I put together a basic concept page to test if this problem is worth solving:
It’s not a product yet — just a validation page to measure interest.
If you deal with Stripe disputes or refund abuse, I’d really appreciate:
whether this problem is actually painful for you
how you currently handle disputes
if automation here feels valuable or unnecessary
Not trying to sell anything — just trying to avoid building something nobody wants.
Thanks to anyone willing to share experience.
Cool! But where's the sweet spot? Is there a specific industry where companies face disputes more often than others?
