We launched Smores - an AI Music Discovery App | Part 2 - The Idea 💡

Chapter 2: The Idea

Idea: An AI powered Short-form Music Discovery App

The Mission: To Expedite The Music Discovery Process and Help Artists Get Discovered

The Pitch:

The ‘For You’ page for Music is finally here!

Spotify recommendations and playlists, friends , Tik-toks, DJ-sets and wow, what is that groovy song playing right now in the coffee shop?

Often, we can easily tell whether we like a song by listening to just a short snippet. S’mores delivers the best parts of a song to help you find your next favorite song faster! Save those sweet finds to Spotify and go down the rabbit hole with easy controls in the app!

As you continue listening to more music, S’mores will adapt recommendations to your recently listened genres and artists. As time goes on, S’mores will introduce you with a variety of songs to help sweeten up your playlists!

Now you might look at this and say ‘How the hell did people read all that?’ They probably skimmed it, and we hit a lot of keywords that may show up in Reddit or Google search.

A few tips with App Store Descriptions:

  1. Create a personal story around it, or try to relate personally by painting the situation

  2. Use hot key words that people will search for for your product. In our case they were “music, discover, favorite, song, fast, recommendations, playlist etc”

  3. Describe the problem and the solution

  4. Highlight the main features

As always here is the link to try out S'mores for yourself: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/smores-music-discovery/id1626768775?ign-itscg=30200&ign-itsct=apps_box_badge
