"In five years time, you'll wish you started today"
This statement refers to people at the start of the proverbial 5-year-journey. I want to hear from people at the end. What are you happy you started doing five years ago?
I think I started doing angular. With that I went from server-side rendering to client side.
I don't do angular anymore but I do react. I haven't looked back since I made the switch. I think it is faster to build this way and definitely cheaper to deploy. I do 10x more work on client side projects than server side.
I started coding 10 years ago but only took it seriously 5 years ago while I was working in a shop. Today I‘ve worked at a number of companies as a front-end developer and also freelance on the side. It’s a tough thing to do completely on your own but staying persistent pays off

5 years ago I started coding.
I started to learn Python but after the first few months, I was getting bored of it.
That's when I moved to front-end development. From the first hour I started to learn HTML and CSS, I was fully-engaged. It has been a great learning experience for me and I'm very glad I began.
Now I am working on a side project called buildfaster.co which is where I sell easy-to-use HTML themes that are great looking 👌
This has been a blessing for me. If I didn't learn to code, I don't know where I would be right now 😰
Coding.
It has opened my world so much.
Without it I would be stuck working a job I would hate.
Same here.
I started taking coding seriously five years ago, and currently, it's my livelihood and what I love doing.
