What are you happy you started doing five years ago?

I think I started doing angular. With that I went from server-side rendering to client side.

I don't do angular anymore but I do react. I haven't looked back since I made the switch. I think it is faster to build this way and definitely cheaper to deploy. I do 10x more work on client side projects than server side.

I started coding 10 years ago but only took it seriously 5 years ago while I was working in a shop. Today I‘ve worked at a number of companies as a front-end developer and also freelance on the side. It’s a tough thing to do completely on your own but staying persistent pays off

Meditation! I started ~7 years ago and wish I started sooner.

I started doing moring deep breathing exercises...Health, Wellness, & Productivity.

1. Started listening to myself, not following others.
2. Started realizing I was wrong most of the time but could adjust quickly.
3. Focused on getting better at decision making.
4. Prioritized helping others.
5. Started looking for people in my network that were co-founder material.

5 years ago I started coding.

I started to learn Python but after the first few months, I was getting bored of it.

That's when I moved to front-end development. From the first hour I started to learn HTML and CSS, I was fully-engaged. It has been a great learning experience for me and I'm very glad I began.

Now I am working on a side project called buildfaster.co which is where I sell easy-to-use HTML themes that are great looking 👌

This has been a blessing for me. If I didn't learn to code, I don't know where I would be right now 😰

It has opened my world so much.

Without it I would be stuck working a job I would hate.
