At the beginning of every month indie hackers share their monthly goals with each other. Now let's discuss the challenges we're all facing to reach those goals!
What do you need help with?
What help/advice/service can you offer others?
Please reply to someone else and help them out — especially if you've requested help yourself!
I just launched essentially KIND on Product Hunt!! YAY! Personally, I am feeling SUPER excited because it is the first product that I have launched as an entrepreneur! I would love to hear everyone's feedback. 🎉

Congrats on the launch! The illustrations look great! Did you make them yourself?
Goodness. Thank you so much! Our creative director worked with an illustrator to make these illustrations come to life. Feel free to message me if you ever need illustrations. I am happy to share who we worked with!
haha, just saw this on PH! Amazing that you guys have been able to get this together so quickly! Congrats!
Oh yay!!! You saw it on PH!? That's awesome!! Thank you so much for your kindness + support!
I did! Keep up the great work!
great idea... how are essential workers perceiving this?
Thank you. That's a great question. We created essentially KIND after talking to several essential workers + first responders. They shared about their current situations and what has brought them the most support + joy. While we wish that we could do more, several of them mentioned how impactful it has been to receive support from the community (messages of gratitude, food and acknowledgment from strangers). With that in mind, we wanted to make sure that they were able to experience more of these things! :)
I would like to talk to founders; I would be asking questions around daily work routine, favorite apps, etc.
In exchange, I can help you with growth strategies and plans. Previously, I built growth teams at YC companies and I am a growth advisor to startups on weekends.
If anyone wants to help, feel free to DM on twitter: https://twitter.com/oyeakhil or respond to this message.
Thanks in advance
I have sent you a DM on twitter.
Our product is kiiind of in this ball park. magicmorning.co
Let me know if you're interested in joining the beta. We still have 17 spots open.
Do you have an android version?
Hey!
Sorry just iOS for now. We're looking to expand to android soon though.
Have you looked through the product directory for potential companies to reach out to?
Sure. I haven't explored product directory page much. I will look into it .
Thanks :)
Looking for volunteers who can help with resume review, mock interviews, or mentorship.
We launched https://endorse.fyi/ this week to help colleagues who've been affected by COVID-19 layoffs. While we've received ~80 signups of people needing help, we desperately need volunteers who can help with resume review, mock interviews, and mentorship.
If you can spare one-hour help out, it will go a long way and make a difference for the people looking to find their next professional position. Would be great if you can sign-up as a volunteer on https://endorse.fyi/ or DM me on https://twitter.com/deepitapai or on email: endorse.fyi@gmail.com. Thank you!
Registered on endorse and sent you an email.
Thank you!🙏
This is a cool idea. Signed up!
Thank you! 🙏

Thank you!🙏
I'm always looking for more beta testers for my Indie Hackers mobile app. The % of testers who actually send feedback is pretty low.
This is awesome but any plans to bring it to android?
Thanks Ayush! Yes I'll eventually make an android version 👍
Hello! I just signed up. I love helping fellow entrepreneurs where I can.
Awesome, thanks Courtney! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts
Hey! I applied like a week ago. I'll send you annoying amounts of feedback :p
Alright! Thanks Hakan! Yes please send as much feedback as you can :)
Great idea. I will do it for android.
Looking for marketers and/or founders to test out our website builder in exchange I will do a landing page review and/ror test your product out.
I want to do 1/2 a week and then use that feedback to improve the product.
I use fullstory but there is nothing like a new person trying your app to improve the UX and see spot obvious things.
Hey!
I wish I saw this sooner. Literally just finished building our site with readymag 😂
Your product looks great though.
What's the URL? :)
To our site? https://magicmorning.co/
This is the site builder we used: https://readymag.com/
It's definitely a bit more manual than Versoly. I could see your product being great for all users that want a quick, clean, and easy solution!
Yeah readymag looks like it is for designers.
We focus on mainly b2b or high cost b2c products.
The websites all look the same but content/copy is king there.
Current morning routine is:
Water
Coffee
Make bed
Meditiate
Spanish
Check analytics
:)
Yep, makes sense!
Sounds like a good routine. Coffee is king. 😂
What app are you using for meditations?
No app found them distracting, ideally I will just sit and focus on breathe.
I also do one following mind valley approach https://www.mindvalley.com/learn-meditation?utm_source=google
Happy to take a look
Great please email me.
I would love to do a video call where you share your screen as you use the web app.
I can offer analytics help.
Monetizing an extension on the chrome store because it's disabled for all new extensions 😭😭😭
I just launched my first product ever -- it tracks price sensitivity across your catalog of products, and dynamically serves coupons to price-sensitive customers, it's at unitdemand.com -- I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for SEO? I have my meta tag/sitemap/alt image tags, but I'm still pretty new to the game, is there something I don't know?
I'm not an expert by any means but I have been putting what I have learned to use.
I am constantly adding new sub landing pages to https://storycreatorapp.com/. Each landing page is created with two things in mind. A. is the keyword actually being searched B. Can the content of this page offer viewers true value.
Each page takes 1-2 hours, plus time for research. Also, it takes time to rank, so it's a game of patience. The last thing I am trying to learn is how to get juicy backlinks, haven't solved that 100% yet. My best advice is to look for current opportunities with others that run a website to get backlinks from them, the more powerful their site is the stronger the backlink is.
If you have other startup friends that have some overlap with your startup then they are a good candidate. Ideally ones with some authority.
During non-COVID times an idea I just now had is offer to write content or offer your story to the event hosts. Usually, the event hosts are brands that have authority. The idea is to reach out to those in close proximity first for backlinks. If none then you need to go out and make connections so that they become close proximity.
Thanks for this -- I've been hearing a lot that having a blog on your site (I was thinking Medium, but I'll try an in-house solution) is a great way to add content that Google would like. Good point on the backlinks too -- time to start hitting up some friends 😁
i'm in a good spot! but... always moving and changing things up.
this month, i'm working on transitioning our "manual process" of onboarding folks into our
alphaplatform by automating some of the authentication and login workflows.we're also rewriting most of the product from the ground-up!
i'm looking for a few new folks this month to join us, but, i'm not looking to scale hardcore (or for a while).
Looking for course creators for my micro-learning site: https://smalltuts.com
Hey.
I need help growing my subscriber list on https://talktomeabout.xyz. Any advice on how to improve the landing page & conversion rate, or how to market a landing page would be very helpful.
Create an indie hacking tag/category (or something of interest to indie hackers) and start a discussion around it on IH?
Any chance to focus on a group of people, imagine your ideal user, who they are, what they do, what they like...then, try to reach those people first
I need help with growth strategy for my currently free utility web app! I anyone has experience with free utility websites, I'd love to connect. In exchange, I can advise on development and some technical questions :)
If you need a form for early signups on your landing page for free I have a website I made to help with that... Makebuildy.com
Just copy and paste the snippet and you're all good!
There's this girl I've been seeing, but she's starting to ghost me, even though I've been completely sweet and caring towards her.
What do? :(
A/B testing of course
Does anyone know during COVID on how to do good customer research/interviews? I'm stuck at home and want to work on a problem but having trouble with emailing and speaking to people about their problems.
Looking for PMs or HR folks to show my demo and get feedback
Let me know in detail if I can help.
Awesome, I have a demo for an upcoming product:

I need a lot of help.
We've slowly rolled out www.loopwith.co - which is an all-in-one platform for those that want to earn a living by teaching something they love through video call.
I'm trying a lot of different methodologies to get users, but nothing seems to be working. What I've tried so far:
Maybe I might be targeting the wrong people? Any thoughts/suggestions/advice/recommendations?
Anything will be helpful, thanks!
Intresting service, reminds me of cofounderlab advisors network.
You may reach out to youtubers trying to grow, they usually comment to other popular videos trying to share their contents, but it won't be much of a benefit for you since they don't have audiences themselves.
I think it's like the podcast business, to get the audience you need to invite popular people, my guess is to try to ask them for help on sth (create a problem and ask for a meeting) and then record the video and ask them if it's ok to share it, you don't have to sign them up, you just need the attention from users.
Then you can post a job offer for parttime teachers or freelancers, add them to your platform, and suggest them to the people watching the related videos. Once you reach that point, you can implement a viral loop.
The strategy needs more study, now it's just an idea.
Best of luck!
I need help in testing our project management platform.
Looking for feedback on our product www.jooseph.com
which is an online directory for finding best resources and collections of links about a subject.
If you're trying to learn something and struggling to find great resources, I can curate a list for you so you can learn without wasting time on searching.
Hey there!
This is kind of funny and great! Like if there were an actual person behind Google. I think it's really fun, and could be cool to use (assuming you're brilliant at finding / aggregating great content).
Curious how this scales though? What's the business model?
From the site perspective, I'd make it clear that you're the one doing the searching for the user. That parts not clear, so your claims feel a bit dubious.
Thanks for your reply,
Actually, we don't have any business model or plan for scaling right now.
Anybody can create collection right now but most of the collections are curated by us, there are couple of other users who curates collections too.
Thanks for your feedback again :)
Sure thing, best of luck!
Decisions: donation button on landing page or after user signup page members’ area?
hmmm, send me the link! I need context.
If you're offering value up front, I think it makes sense to have a donation button on the page. If the user only receives value after using the product / service then you'll want to hold off on asking for a donation.
looking for the right users to starting using upstamps.com and convert them to paying users
Hey!
What a great site! One of the best I've seen!
Just asked my dev if this is something that would be useful for us :)
Hey thank you, let me know what he thinks, would love the feedback
I currently need help finding beta testers and a proper growth startegy for user acquisition for https://www.listnr.tech/
Is it text to speech, because the main problem I saw with text to speech softwares is they still sound so artificial that users don't retain.
I like the idea though but if it's not in text to speech, because probably users won't listen more than 30 secs of that artificial sound.
I agree, what differentiates us from the competition is that it's the most human sounding TTS. Google WaveNet + Azure + our own Deep learning and sentiment analysis algorithm.
Building a subscribers list is quite new for me. I wonder how often I should send them emails and the what abouts...
Are people also interested in updates about my product or only valuable content which is topic related?
Be sure to send them an update at least twice a day.
Jk jk, I think you'll want to hold back quite a lot. Only send them big big updates.
For a moment I thought you were serious😂
But thanks for your answer 👍🏼
I'm looking for guidance , mentoring on creating an audience in Twitter for example so I can later on offer this audience paid content such ebook videos, training and consulting.
i saw something via david perell that might be up your alley... it's a paid course though (not an affiliate or customer... a fan of david's)!
Thank you. I'll check it out
of course! i've been a long-time user but i don't think i have the level of strategic thinking that david has.
I started writing real examples of how pre-internet era companies were using “modern” methods like distribution channel, a/b testing, use of influencers and many more. Wrote about the oldest company still in operation, Madam C. J. Walker and one of the most expensive wines in the world. Thinking about what sort of companies I should write next
