What happens if you advertise your startup for $600 in 2 days?

I resisted for a long time for my startup MonitUp.com, but finally I tried advertising for the first time and I want to share the results with you.

MonitUp increases the productivity of teams and companies. We have come so far with a very low cost. I currently have an ARR over $1K. but unfortunately, I have not been able to sell with the monthly subscription method yet.

MonitUp has a total of 13 customers in 9 different countries and I found all of them on AppSumo.

You can read about my previous experiences here:

Before the ad, a total of 20 people visited the website per day, but things changed a bit after that...

8.3K people visited MonitUp.com in 5 days...

Actually, we finished the ads at the end of the 2nd day, but then strangely, the visitors kept coming, and it continues.

We made the ad for India and tried different keywords.

So what did this get me?

I gained a total of 10 new members but unfortunately I couldn't make any sales :( People generally visited the homepage and left.

I think there may be 2 reasons for this:

  1. The target audience was chosen incorrectly while advertising. For example: MonitUp only supports Windwos OS, we got a lot of clicks from mobile. We might never have gotten them.
  2. The target audience was correct, but they did not like the product, the features.

I would have hoped that the ads would be much more effective, and I'm trying to learn from this experiment. If you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

    Hey Faruk,

I've checked your landing page and honestly, I think that the first thing to do is working on your copywriting and the design of your website, I don't think it's intuitive in any way.

WHAT PROBLEM ARE YOU SOLVING?? You need a clear Value Proposition for your business.

I think your product has great potential especially when I see the number of remote positions on the market but you need a proper plan and some adjustments.

And before your try Paid Marketing I think you should focus on Sales and Organic Marketing.

By the way, I'm a Saas Sales Manager for a French HRMS so I work pretty much on the same target audience as yours.

I can help you boost your sales if you are interested.
