SEO tools are no joke.
I see folks struggling to find a perfect combination here.
Some tools are useless, while others can devour your budget. And throwing money on expensive tools doesn't guarantee wanted rankings. Strategy is paramount. But then, we need data to make decisions.
So, what's has worked for you in the past, and what are you using now? Or what do you wholeheartedly want people to avoid?
Let me kick-off:
We're also looking into:
I'm still undecided on the entire AI-powered SEO tools. However, this field will probably grow over the next couple of years.
What is your experience with SEO tools?
I use KatLinks.io. Great indie hacker pricing friendly alternative to some of the bigger alternatives (SEMRush etc). Highly recommend!
I also built SEOCopy.ai, which I use myself for landing page copy and blog posts.
I'm also looking at exploring SEO tools specifically for content marketing. I have the time to write the post myself so I'm really looking for a tool that suggest KWs and can suggest content titles so that I have a bit more assurance that I'm doing things properly. Does anybody know if this exist?
I used https://headlines.coschedule.com/headlines a couple of years back.
What we use for Zendo is:
My favorites are KWFinder and SurferSEO they are very powerful.
How does KWFinder compare to Ahrefs?
Ahrefs gives you a little bit more functionality but is much more expensive. I have switched to KWFinder as it has all the features I currently need :)
Semrush and GSC.
I'm still debating how beneficial an SEO tool is. I've probably found the most use out of the keyword idea features. The most useless, yet addicting feature, is the ranking tracking.
Rank tracking is a low-key disease, haha.
Analyzing SERPs to discover keyword intent is another powerful use case.
Recently started using Surfer and I enjoy it, looks like my articles were pretty shitty for the keywords i intended to rank for 🤓
Are you seeing any tangible results of using Surfer in terms of rankings?
Too soon to tell, I will let you know
