Would you be interested in FREE feedback on your product?
Hi all,
I've joined the indie hackers community recently, so far I've been only reading posts. I'm a software engineer looking for motivation for a side hustle. I recognised that I'm passionate about building user friendly software, and I'm very critical when I see shortcomings in products and usually I have good eye for spotting bugs.
As such I want to validate an idea - whether people would pay for someone to try out and test their products.
If you want someone to test your products and assemble critical feedback for FREE - consider sending me a message with the following details:
- how to access your product
- what features/areas of your product you want tested
- where to send you the feedback
I will test as much as possible from your products but I will be doing this for limited period for the next 2 weeks.
In return I will only ask you to give me feedback on how I did and whether you would consider paying for this service in the future.

Hi @mathieujofis, would you be more specific which part of your products you would like me to focus on? Landing pages/API itself/API docs etc?
mlrequest is still in the validation phase, so everything you mentioned is wide open for feedback :)
I'm trying to see if the landing page communicates the service well enough, if the API is flexible/useful enough, and if the documentation is understandable or it needs more clarification/details.

Awesome but one suggestion if you don't mind. I think the free offering should be lowered as the free plan has 50k API calls while the $10 plan has 100k calls. I have commonly seen the free-to-paid ratio to be somewhere around 1:5 or 1:6 or sometime more. If it is working for you, it's already great then. Just a perpective. :)
It's a little tricky, but you'll notice on the paid plans they have unlimited model training. For the free plan you can only train (or predict) for up to the 50k api calls you mentioned. People who get a free API key will quickly realize this, if they didn't understand when they signed up. Any ideas on how to make it more clear?

This is a great idea... I know someone working on something similar (betatesta.xyz) ... i already know that I would pay for this (if the feedback is of sufficient depth and actionable).

Well you absolutely nailed your post title! Great way to validate your own idea too. Sure let's do this:

Test: the flow from landing page (did it convert you) -> onboarding (does it explain the service) -> unsubscribing (how did you find the UX etc)
