Beautiful Headers

Today I published on r/SideProject and got some users and feedbacks.

From one of them I got to implement a checker for the colour contrast ratio and warn the user when the text is not accessible (hard to read because of too low contrast ratio).

It was quite quick and nice to add it and get the chance to work again on this project after some time!

It is now possible to customise headers selecting the background color and also the font color. This allows user to generate images more in line with their brand.

Default configuration is still with black background and white text but it is a matter of a couple of clicks to get unique beautiful headers!

A few hours here, a few hours there and I managed to get the MVP ready for publishing so that it does just one thing. The thing I wanted to build it for.

I had to refrain from adding this small feature here, that small detail there and all the things that simply keep you busy postponing the time of publishing a project.

I wanted to have Beautiful Headers out there as soon as possible to validate my idea before putting more and more work into it.

I've read so many times that you should solve your own problem, and so this time instead of complaining about something I decided to build something!

It turned out that I had quite a few problems worth solving, and the most interesting one led me to the idea for Beautiful Headers!

I am quite never happy with what I pick as a banner for my Twitter profile so I wanted to build something to simplify the process of creating an image and updating my profile automatically.
