I'm a daily user of IH, Hacker News, follow makers on Twitter, read how "old" companies and entrepreneurs started and also read tons of articles about "new" companies, how they started, how they are growing and all of that. Why? I want to launch my own project. There is no better thing to do than follow experts and see how they are doing.
After being furloughed last month, I caught myself thinking back on what I should do, what problems to solve, to finally kick off my project.
Combining my passion for reading those articles, a challenge to launch a company out of iPad only and using my free time to improve my English writing skills, I decided to create a newsletter.
I think there are many different articles telling stories about modern companies and how they are winning in this modern era. The same is not true for those companies created before 90s though. There are a lot to learn from pre-Internet era companies and apply to our business.
