🙌 Gratitude to the Community
A big shoutout to the Indie Hackers community for being a continuous source of inspiration and support. Your feedback and insights have been invaluable throughout this journey.
🚀 What's Next for Breves?
This is just the beginning! I'm committed to delivering more features that will take Breves to new heights. Stay tuned for upcoming updates and enhancements!

Reading a post of Chri Donnelly on Linkedin I found a set of interesting questions to ask during an interview.
So I add those questions in the repo https://github.com/BrevesOrg/Questions/tree/main/english, sooner I'll translate those question in italian too and try to help people to have a nice set of questions.

We device to share our roadmap with the users and ask them feedback about which feature they want more.
The feedback, at now, is just sent via email in the future we will add a form that the logged user can use.
We hope this page creates more engagement with the service.

In order to simplify the signup/login we've substitute it using SSO via GitHub or GitLab.
To perform this we've contribute to fastpi-sso library adding GitLab support in it.
Please let us know if you want new another SSO providers, may your preferite.

I think that the use of questions can help candidates to understand if the job position meets their needs (maybe before starting the whole hiring process e job interviews). I don't care too much if they are not using Breves but I care that the use of questions at the end force the companies and the recruiters to write better job position.
Hence I've created a GitHub space in order to collect these materials with the contributions of everyone.
Please visit https://github.com/BrevesOrg.
P.S. Today we've gained 4 new users.

A couple of days ago I've answered a post on Linkedin about recruiters.
I had spoken about my idea of the questionnaire as a solution and for the curious, I put the link to the website.
My proposal receives some positive feedback, the site has 170 unique visitors in one day and a half.
The better thing is the new users who signed up :).

Today we've reached 10 registered users, we'll send email to the users asking about the service looking for improvements and feedback.
In the next weeks, based on the feedback, we will post on hackernews and after to product hunt.
Cross the finger for us :)

During the second campaign, we've 2 new users (a few I know :D).
Todo for the next weeks
- contact the users to ask what they think about the service
- add a list of questions, available for everyone, which the people can ask during an
interview [DONE - see at https://breves.it/pages/mission ] - Think about OAuth to see if will be more new users.
Best regards

After day 1 the first 3 users signed up.
I hope the number continues to increase in the coming days (even fews per day).
More people are using it more it can be validated as a useful service and meet the needs of the users.
I'll continue to check the number of users and read about your comments and feedback.
Thank you

Hi @Cereal84 … when I was checking out the site, I felt that the Signup CTA was too much commitment to see how it works … perhaps you could change the onboarding to allow users to create their quiz first, and even share their unique link without creating (yet another) password … nowadays with email “magic links” you can pretty much push the account creation until later in the customer lifecycle. Happy to chat more if you’d like.

Hi @inderdeep,
thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it.
In the next days I'll think about your idea.
I do not like to remove the signup (or I can use OAuth), maybe an I can find a way to let try the service, for a limited time, without signing up.What do you think? Which kind of idea do you have?

Sorry my bad ... I meant to say that perhaps the signup could be moved to the end of the process ... so they can get started on creating the quiz and when they are done, they can add their email/password to save their progress ...
Also, I didnt know how the recruiter experience would be like so I was hesitant to send them something that might look bad on me, or perhaps might be taken in the wrong way by them ....
My 2 cents :)

Probably the right idea may be to let the user try the service without signing up.
They create a questionnaire, the service sends back via email the link to share the questionnaire with recruiters.
You (the user) can try it and if you like you can sign up, if you're using the same email used before the system gets the questionnaire already created and add it to yours. In this way, a user can test the service and then decide to sign up or not.
What do you think ?-

@inderdeep
I may suggest you to try the idea (questionnaire) of creating your questionnaire via google form (I've tested in my personal site with WordPress).
Maybe some recruiters do not like the idea to answer your questions (I suggest max 8/10 questions) but in my experience the ones who are really interested answer the questionnaire the others do not without saying anything.
The project is born in order to avoid the ones who send 10k messages to everyone without knowing if that position fit your experience and skills.

What a fascinating idea. Almost like OKCupid questions from back in the day (no idea if they are still active) to filter dating potential.
Also reminds me of the Joel Test (yep, showing my age here):

Hi, finereli,
thank you for the comment :). I'm glad you find this idea fascinating.-

Are you still getting sign ups? And similarities between the people who signed up?

No new signup.
I've posted the project in 2 Reddit groups. I've had many visits but no new signup.
The users seem to look at the homepage, the login page, and signup but no one signed up.
In my plan, I should post the site in different places but before posting to the next one I'm searching for a way to analyze the visitors' behavior.
One of the possibilities should be that I need a "Google signup"/"Github signup" etc.At now my priority is to understand if :
- the service is not interesting
- asking in the groups for feedback - using an OAuth can help lazy users
Do you have some advice or doubt ?
- the service is not interesting

After a couple of months, working in my spare time, I've built the MVP.
I've started sharing it with close friends (all developers) and taking their feedback in order to improve the service and the UI.
Today is the first launch of this service via the indie hackers community.

Hi MGKNeT,
thank you. I'll check soon to resolve the problem.
Are you using a desktop browser or mobile? Theoretically, the text size should be adapted to the screen size.-

Desktop, Chrome, macOS, resolution is 2560 x 1080.

can you check it now ?
I hope to have improved at least a little bit the visualization.
On my MacBook the text is seen correctly :(-

It is mostly the same for me. The text "A job interview process takes you at least 75/140 minutes" and "Our solution allows you to choose the most interesting job positions cutting off that time drastically." - is on multiple lines and a bit over each other. (still)

I've to check it better.
Thank you for your time and feedback

Hey! I have a quick question. How do you plan to do the marketing for getting your first clients? By the way, the webpage seems awesome to me.
-
1
Hi,
what do you mean with clients?
If you mean paying customers, the service will be completely free for the users (who receives job position ). For them, I planned, only, to post the launch on different platforms like IH or HackerNews etc.On monetization I have some options but none of those concern users who use the service for the selection of job offers.
Thank you for your feedback and question :)
P.S. If you've some suggestion please write me.

About
The service was born out of the need to discard less interesting job offers to avoid starting the interview process (which can require even 2 hours), saving time.
