Burnd
HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) App π₯
First big milestone! After just 1 week of being publicly available, Burnd is featured by Apple in the "Apps we love" category in a total of 110 countries. The featuring includes Germany, Canada and other large countries, unfortunately the "holy grail" of USA is not amongst them (yet).
After a roughly 2 week period of testing the app using Testflight and making some final adjustments and bugfixes, Burnd is now finally available for pre-order starting today. The pre-order version of the app is for free and will be downloaded automatically once actually released.

It took about 4 weeks, but I'm finally done building the minimum viable product for Burnd. I worked mostly nights and weekends, and I coded the whole thing in Xcode using Swift. In hindsight, there were a few features I built that probably could've waited until later. But I'm excited to start talking to customers and see what they think about the product so far!

I am passionate about health and fitness & going to the gym to work out regularly. During the COVID-19 crisis I was looking for ways to stay motivated working out at home with mostly bodyweight exercises - I discovered HIIT, was unsatisfied with available products and figured I could create my own. π€
In addition to that, I also figured it was about time to create another side project.

Well done, any tips on getting featured?
I filled out the "Featuring form" Apple provides: http://appstore.com/promote. I cannot say for certain what actually convinced them to do the featuring but I specifically highlighted all Apple technologies the app is using + I told a little bit of a "product story" along with it. Also having an app that is visually appealing is always a must, I'd say chances of getting featured if your UI is not well done are close to zero.
Congratulations. Way to go!!!
