CustomerPing.ai
An AI that pings you when it finds customers for you
It turns out that methods and tools alone do not guarantee that people will be successful in their marketing. It's like publishing the recipe and everyone brings their own ingredients. With some ingredients, the recipe works. With others, it doesn't.
So I founded GotoMarketGuild.club, a wonderful place where entrepreneurs can collaborate and help each other take their product to market.
We simply do these things together:
- Find out who our customers are and what they need (a.k.a. customer research)
- Make our products shine (a.k.a. positioning)
- Convince Buyers (a.k.a. messaging)
- Gain traction (a.k.a. channel discovery and development)
I provide methods, frameworks, templates, how-tos, etc., and my two products 2Quiet2Market and CustomerPing are already included in the $30 monthly fee for the club. People can use them for positioning, customer research, and social sales, right away!
Conversations happen in different channels where we discuss strategies and tactics that work or don't work well. Connection happens between people when they discover they have something in common, or they can solve problems together that they wouldn't be able to solve alone (this is important for indie hackers and other solopreneurs).
People can see how I do my marketing for CustomerPing in the club as well. I share my results for positioning, messaging, and traction with the other members so you can see how things can be done.
Yay, two people signed up and paid immediately! Let's see whether at least 10 people join so the club can take off.
At first, I had lots of free users who came from the wait list I had set up. Each new user got 200 free "credits" – the fuel that the AI is running on. Each article that the AI finds and ranks for relevance (inside an online forum where people talk about the problems you solve), this article consumes one credit.
So most of the users consume those 200 free credits and stop.
The first paying customer was one who had already bought 2Quiet2Market.com, another product of mine, so they knew that I make good stuff. But then, other customers bought credit packages as well, and that was really encouraging.

Marketing isn't the most exciting thing for me as a software engineer. I perceive it as a kind of necessity for business, not as a thing that ignites my enthusiasm.
And I saw a lot of similar statements from other solo entrepreneurs. They know that customer research and marketing are necessary but they don't love to do it.
So I thought: Wouldn't it be cool if I had an AI that would do this for me? It would scan the internet for customers and bring them to me, instead of me searching for them. And it would "ping" me right on my mobile that I'm using all the time, anyway.
And so I made it and released it. No big deal. I just had some nasty problems to solve but that's what an engineer enjoys, right? 😄

This AI listens to online audiences and sends you a "ping" when they discuss the problems that your business could solve. Be the first to join the conversation, once you've had your coffee!
