We’re Leon (designer/dev) and Tobi (sales/ops) – and we just launched our new side project: Dotts.
What is Dotts?
Dotts is a minimal, client-friendly feedback tool that lets users leave pinpointed comments on live websites, images, and PDFs – all without needing an account. Just upload a file or paste a link, share it, and you’re good to go. It’s built to make feedback fast, simple, and visual.
Why we built it
As a designer and a software sales guy, we’ve both struggled with long, messy client review processes. Most tools out there (like MarkUp) are either too expensive, too bloated, or confusing for clients. So we decided to build something better – a lightweight, no-friction alternative that works out of the box.
Who it’s for
Designers, developers, product teams, freelancers, agencies – basically anyone who shares work and needs visual feedback. It works great for website reviews, mockups, landing pages, design files, or even PDF documents.

It's a really good idea. I'm not sure your value prop is immediately clear when I look at the site. I would love to do a full work-up User Panel for it on capture60 (one day I will be able to post links but its DOT COM); but just with my experience doing this for a number of years here are my topline thoughts:
I think the actual value prop it gives me in an organization is this:
🧠 “Feedback is scattered across 10 tools, 6 emails, 3 Slack threads, and no one knows what’s final.”The true pain isn’t that giving feedback is hard — people still manage to do it.
The pain is that it’s fragmented and impossible to track. You end up with:Comments in Figma
Suggestions in Google Docs
Edits in PDFs
“Quick thoughts” in Slack
Emails titled “Small tweaks”
A client texting you a screenshot with “What about this?”
You don’t know:
What feedback is latest
What’s been seen or acted on
Where to even look when it's time to make updates
So Dotts’ real value is:
“Consolidate all your scattered feedback into one clean, trackable place — no matter where it came from.”
It’s not just about “click to comment.”
It’s feedback centralization, not feedback collection.
---Note: I'm not sure that is exactly what you have built, but as a PM and a team leader I want to streamline the number of places I have to look for something... If you have the $30 in your budget I would love to have you as a client, I think you have a solid idea.-

You nailed it: our long-term vision with Dotts is to centralize all that scattered feedback into one clean space. Right now, we're starting simple with visual commenting, but we're already thinking about how to solve the bigger chaos you described. you’ve nailed the no login friction.... point ...... that’s often the hidden killer in client feedback flows. have you noticed different types of feedback depending on whether users are clients or internal teams?

Cool idea - I' m currently grabbing feedback on my project Toad, so definitely feel the pain point.
When you say you've got to 90 organic users, how have you done that exactly? What channels did you use? Did you find some channels better than others?

We mostly used product launch pages, X and Reddit. Tried to post in channels where a lot of freelancers etc are active since we see our ICP there.
