Update 84: Got featured on Baremetrics blog

Happy Monday, Indie Hackers!

Let's get on with this week's update.

  1. What we worked on last week and how well did we achieve our goals?

✅ Honored to get featured on the Baremetrics blog in a post about churn reduction. We shared our strategy on how we keep our churn almost to 0. You can read the post here: https://baremetrics.com/blog/reduce-churn

✅ Published a new post on Product-led Onboarding Vs. Sales-driven Onboarding and Which one you need to choose. Worth checking it out if you're torn between low-touch/self-serve model and high-touch/sales-driven acquisition and onboarding for your SaaS. You can read the post here - https://encharge.io/product-led-onboarding-vs-sales-led-onboarding/

✅ Prepared and did a webinar on behavior-driven emails for Digitalpro.bg — a local, certified digital marketing program.

✅ Imported another (and the last) batch of emails for one of our customers. As well as create an email flow for one of her campaigns. Still need to create the biggest and most difficult flow for that customer, but waiting on her developers to integrate events.

What we’re working on this week, and what are our goals?

  • Send 1 newsletter about an already published article
  • Write 2 new articles
  • Record a video about one of the articles (didn't manage to do that last week)
  • (if events are integrated) Customer Onboarding
  • Slav is working on advanced events

  1. Anything important we have learned or anything we are struggling with?
  • Onboarding new customers is a hell of a tough job. We should avoid doing email re-engagement campaigns in the future — super difficult to execute technically.
