November and December were really good, revenue basically doubled from 5$ to 10$. I now have 54 articles published. It's not much but definitely a good surprise.
I have written only 13 new articles, for some reason my old posts are now getting more traffic. My plan for 2022 is to double that again.
So as part of blogging I had a few challenges from Google Search Console and Adsense. I was using the official TwentyTwenty Wordpress theme for my blog because I think it looks really clean. But GSC flagged a few issues regarding Web Core Vitals and Page experience on Mobile. I had to do a few CSS modifications in order to get it 100% score.
Then I wanted to maximize my AdSense monetisation. Other themes have a sidebar where you could add ads but this one didn't have any. To add to the problem I wanted to keep my blog AMP and I couldn't find a theme which was both AMP and had 2 sidebars.
So I did a few code modifications to add 2 sidebars for that. This increased by revenue by 20% (4$ to 5$ ^^').
Anyway, I compiled the whole thing into a child theme that you can use for free if you want.

Wrote 41 articles, no niche just about Technology in the last 7 months. Traffic really picked up after 5-6 months and now we have reached around 100 consistent daily page views. The blog is currently monetized with AdSense only. There are a few affiliate articles but they don't pull enough traffic. Anyway, at least it is paying for its own hosting fees now! :)

Based entirely on what is happening in my life. So Apex Legends content was because I was playing ps4 and needed to enable aim assist. CPU Throttling because I had bought a laptop and it was overheating ^^;

Congrats! Did you have any trouble with indexing your pages?

No trouble, I installed Google Site Kit plugin and connected Google Search Console. If you want your pages to be indexed fast you can submit them one by one. Oh yes I have also installed Yoast SEO plugin. You can create a sitemap with that plugin and submit it to Google Search Console to make it much easier for GSC to detect your new posts! :D

Yes I did it's really inspiring but I don't know if I can confine myself a niche. I want the process to be enjoyable too.
