Extpose
Analytics and ASO for chrome extensions
On my way to product-market fit.
I've sold my first subscription. 20$ is 20$
The approval process was super-smooth and after writing user manual (https://docs.extpose.com/extpose-features) I got approved.

I have read an interview https://www.indiehackers.com/interview/building-a-tool-to-help-me-focus-and-how-it-became-my-third-business-a2f30aca3b
Won't use it as a productivity tool but I see potential as a content marketing tool - you don't write a long article but just some short useful checklist that promotes your product. It takes ~30 minutes to make a decent piece of content and spread it to SEO and platform distribution.

I have a Slack integration feature and want to try Slack App directory as an acquisition channel.
Slack integration is completely dumb - it sends digest on user's browser extensions daily or weekly to some channel. API integration was super-easy and it took a couple to hours to implement it.
Submission to Slack marketplace was trickier but the overall experience is great. The app was reviewed the same day and I was asked to provide an account with an active subscription. After that, I got a reply "It doesn't look like there's any information about the Slack app at this page. We need a publicly accessible page that describes how to install and use the app."
The rejection is reasonable and I will resubmit after revamping my landing page.

Before NY I submitted Extpose to some startup directories but have not got any significant traffic.
Betalist rejected my submission without any notification and explanation. But it seems I have to make a more decent landing page as the guidelines state.

Many companies rely on Chrome Web Store as one of marketing channels. Some companies (e.g. Honey, Grammarly) gain their traction mainly from this channel.
There is a fierce competition in Android Market and AppStore, companies have to make ASO, track statistics, and buy ads to compete effectively. Nevertheless, the competition on browser extensions platforms seems to be less tense, almost all developers don’t even comply with official publishing guidelines to perform better.
My vision is that there is a gap in tooling for browser extensions markets, and the first thing missing is an analytics service.

Chrome Web Store is a great marketing channel. Competition is less tense than in Android/AppStore. There is no ASO/analytics tool for browser extension market so I'm going to fill the gap.
