Over the years, I've noticed something that happens in almost every company I've worked with.

One assumption I'd challenge is that the problem is collecting ideas.
Most companies already have more ideas than they can act on. The harder problem is helping people trust that good ideas consistently turn into decisions. If the product becomes the system that makes that process visible, it solves a much bigger problem than idea capture alone.
