Simplify Nutrition Tracking with FitnessMentor.ai

I've struggled with weight for quite a while. I can't lie; I love to eat and drink—probably a bit too much. About a decade ago, I lost a bunch of weight with keto, and since then, I thought keto was the only way to lose weight. However, ten years later, it no longer worked.

In May 2024, I looked in the mirror and was absolutely disgusted by my lack of progress. I was doing keto, and I seemed to have gained weight! Something needed to change. So, a month later, I hired a nutrition coach. I was forced to track my meals via a mobile app, and my coach would give me feedback on what needed to change. It was absolutely fantastic. However, it cost $299 per month (for the lowest tier). As amazing as it was, I couldn't afford to make those monthly payments. About a month into using my nutrition coach, I came up with the idea of an AI coach and got to work in September 2024 to make it happen.

Now, I've finally finished my proof-of-concept. Users can create an account complete with their fitness goals, height, weight, calorie and macronutrient targets; track their meals via short descriptions and/or meal pictures; and get daily feedback on how they ate with respect to their goal.

In my opinion, it's the act of tracking meals and being honest with oneself that brings about the change needed to lose fat or gain muscle. For the most part, everyone has a general idea of what they need to do to lose weight; they just need to track their progress and perhaps get a daily push to reach their goals. That's where FitnessMentor.ai comes in. It's a daily tracker with an AI mentor to give you the push you need!
