I travel a lot for work, and I kept noticing the same thing:

I'd book a flight, feel good about the price, and then a few days later I'd check again and it would be cheaper. Sometimes by $40… sometimes by $80+.

Most people don’t know this, but airlines will give you travel credit if the price drops after you book — you just have to manually check and request it.

I hated the idea of missing out on money for no reason. And I REALLY hated checking manually.

So I built FlightDrop.

Here’s what it does:

• You forward your flight confirmation

• We track the price behind the scenes

• If it drops, we secure the airline credit for you automatically

• You get notified when you save money

While building it, I learned:

• Flight prices change constantly

• Airlines almost never notify you

• Most people never re-check their fare

• Even small drops add up across a year
