Create Forms That Notify You - For Insights & Leads
I resigned from my last job in Dubai the last year. From October I was free to work on anything I want.
My aim was to launch my product fast. But 3 months over. Many launch dates passed. Till now a proper launch is not done.
My only revenue source
The salary that got credited till September was my only revenue source. I stopped doing freelancing 3 years before. I previously done freelancing when I was short of money.
I created new features in web applications as part of freelancing. But now my main aim is to focus on my product.
The problem I should solve
I thought I will work on my product, will see how it will grow. Will might look into other job opportunities if things are not progressing.
Now I am getting into that reality. No revenue means, burning my savings. So the first problem I should solve is lack of revenue.
I should work on remote freelance jobs or full-time onsite jobs. I have good experience in React JS, Laravel, Node JS, etc.
The problems I faced this 3 months
I was overwhelmed by many things. Lacked the mental peace. Lacked productivity.
These days launching a product means not just coding. But also do growth marketing, content creation, testing, deploy, etc. This if done without a proper system overwhelms.
Due to several problems in my personal life, I was holding a lot of stress in my head. The life felt boring on many days.
Chasing cheap dopamine & ADHD kind of problems
Listening to youtube on background accompanied my work time. It gave me cheap dopamine and took productivity from me. My focus went away.
I also was not exercising enough, only walking. Walking only was not enough to kill the stress and get natural dopamine.
How I improve now
I started limiting watching youtube. Recently, I started cycling again. I took my cycle to hilly terrain and it helped me to choke and pushed me to go more.
Anothe hidden thing I found is interstitial journaling. It helped me to get into a work mood. For me, it is just writing what I am going to do next.
I also learned about ways to improve an ADHD kind of brain by improving thinking skills and practicing little exercises for helping the five sensories aware of the space I am in.
What I am going to do?
I need to make and follow a system that will bring revenue and will help to grow my product to a stable revenue.
I will work for people by offering freelance web development services in React JS, Laravel, Node JS etc. I have 12 years of web development experience.
What I learned now?
Without a proper system and buring savings while not having a revenue from the product I build is a serious issue that I should solve.
When not addressed this issues will lead to more financial problems.
Soft launched the product in Indie Hackers, Show HN and nothing else i think.
The product development is going on very slowly! Few days before a person from Africa sign up. I think he found my product through Bing search.
The way that person tried to create something in my product gave me more ideas also.
Now, I was just reading a blog. Then I suddenly thought about the post I published here before. I think the previous post is too common. And a sudden thought to write something from scratch, a raw version of what's going on and about things like that.
Really what's going on
I made this product basically as a way to contact people (yes there are bla bla bla!).
So, I chose to make it simple. Include field for message, email and phone. I thought this is ok.
But then I was thinking about making the product as a form generating tool. Which will have more options than the current three fields.
So, now I am making the form dynamic, so you will be able to add more fields and change the questions in the form if needed.
As a Feedback tool
Yes I was trying to position it as a feedback collection tool for people managers. But that moment I realised the need for different questions. I was also planning to cold call and pitch the product to more people. But that also require a few more features so I can sell with more confidence.
Developers
Some of my developer friends who when heard about the product told me that they will try the product for any of their websites. But, API ? Yes, No API is available for now. But that's also in the pipeline.
The good response I got from my developer friends looks good. My mind is filled with more use cases and ideas to make the product more better.
Paid Users
For now, I haven't integrated payment. But soon after completing the updations which is more important I will switch to payment integration. Possibly I will integrate payments using Dodo Payments as a Merchant of Record service provider.
So, zero paid users.
This is a quick update of the product. I will continue to update more things.
Rather than posting the GPT refined posts, I will write handwritten ones.

My side project started with a simple thought: there are countless ways to contact someone online, but none of them really helped me connect in a clean, straightforward way.
That led me to build Contact Me. Over time, I realized the name and scope were generic and affects branding and SEO — so I rebranded to Form Recipe, a tool focused on making online forms simple, flexible, and practical.
What Form Recipe does?
You can create unlimited forms with fields like:

When someone submits a form, Form Recipe captures the submission and notifies you - via email and web push notifications. All messages are neatly grouped, so you don’t get buried in messy, spammy emails.

Form Recipe started as a small side project, but now I can see so many possibilities with this. My goal is to build a this better and bring it to many users - and I’m close.
