So, another chance to show-up Freebies.ByPeople on a massive community of UX/UI designers and hardcore product makers (I know there's a lot of them on DN) and the site broke down!! Haha, D4mmmmn boy!!!! 😡

I worked all-of-the morning with my dev crew trying to find out what might have happened, all with the pressure of seeing the post reaching one of the top positions of the day!! 😟😱

Almost one hour later we're happily ON THE AIR again... 😅
A tough morning, but also a good one, since our unexpected SSL conflict was finally sorted out.

Crazy!!! 🚀 Just noticed that my latest launch Freebies.ByPeople become Product Of The Day #2 on Product Hunt: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/freebies-bypeople

Even as optimistic as I was, never really expected to achieve one of the top positions. Our products' landing page has been on fire since the very few mins after the launch.

I'll be sure to gather all the insights from this launch to share first-hand with the IH community, which has helped me a lot in the different stages of Freebies.ByPeople.

There's nothing else to say but... GRACIAS TOTALES!

After posting a bit more than 1000 unique items & a couple months of heavy development/design duty, I'm pretty excited to see my baby 👶 Freebies.ByPeople finally alive on Product Hunt:

You'll find stuff like:

It's not a cliché to say that I'd love to see all of your feedback there ;) I'LL REALLY DO, PLEASE COMMENT & RATE :D

Freebies.bypeople.com started as a side-project for bypeople.com, but it gradually turned out as a lovely opportunity to bring out a well-crafted site in all of the terms that we, as designers, could come to mind:

• A clean & organized UI
• Lightning-fast loading speed
• An eye-pleasant yet-striking color palette
• Trendy illustrations to represent our vision
• Fluid animations to keep the eye interested :)

🏅1K+ Freebies:

We have happily reached one of the first real milestones that we ever thought for this project. Must say that it is pretty satisfying to see how the daily work all merges into something big.

As big as a 1000+ full-access library (no hidden fees or tricks) of free-for-commercial high-quality items that will save hours of searching and testing tools & resources, to fellow designers & developers just like us.

We got there, among a lot of other things:

• Curated CSS snippets & code plugins
• Professional fonts & vector icons
• Tons of UI kits & templates (HTML/CSS, Figma, XD, Sketch, AI)
• A space for WordPress users too (Themes and Plugins)
• 3D Models & renders

So to cut the long story, we're ready now to launch on Product Hunt, and the date keeps coming closer.

I appreciate all the feedback and roasting as always. Many thanks a lot for everyone that save a little space of its time from cheering me up or pointing any mistake 👍 We made it!!

After hearing some feedback we realized that our side-project Freebies.ByPeople's UI & aesthetics were progressing in a different tone from our mother site bypeople.com so we were working on reducing this visual gap between ByPeople and the subdomain Freebies.

It's been also almost 2 long months where we had the time to:

• Create a nice & fluid animation for our header.
• Improve the loading speed not only on the landing but also on all the site (We needed to sacrifice some cool preview gifs tho 😥 )
• Test different cards & layouts for our posts previews.
• Static or not: That's was the dilemma about the categories menu.
• Keep growing the collection and hunting more & more good commercial-use freebies for designers & developers.

How does it look? Every feedback or roasting is completely welcome and appreciated 🙏

After several months of having the 'Men At Work' 🚧 sign hanging on freebies.bypeople.com we finally decided to put a deadline to have a proper Product Hunt launch, as our effort deserves 😎.

All the team have been heavily-in ✔️. Working not only on bettering the site's UI, but also on building new channels to gather friendly advice & feedback, which has become a very important asset for our roadmap.

Based on your appreciation's we still got to:

🔴 Reduce the difference between our landing sub-domain freebies.bypeople and the product's pages on the main site bypeople.com Some people has make us notice that they're currently looking like different services.

🔴 Gather more & more UI/UX feedback from users, makers, subscribers & everyone interested in sharing its word of encourage or roasting this project (in a good way :P ). So all the feedback is totally appreciated 🙏

We're still working on the cleanest & functional layout possible:

📜 In our site bypeople.com we professionally curate freebies (resources & tools) on a daily-basis, to help designers & developers in their own work.

⭐ We decided to create freebies.bypeople.com as a side project to collect and classify the best free-for-commercial resources in only one site. We got icons, fonts, code plugins, UI kits, web templates, web tools and much more.

The deal now, according to the feedback that we have received so far:
