July 2023 Updates for Hirevire

Hirevire is 1 🎂

It’s been a year since we launched Hirevire. 1 year is a long time in the technology industry. When we started there was no ChatGPT 🤯. We’re in awe of all that you do with Hirevire. We’re also continuously inspired to get better, so we can help you do even more. It’s an honour to assist so many customers with interviews every day.

As part of our birthday month celebration, we wanted to provide a discount to help even more users with Hirevire. With that in mind, we’re giving you $100 off (1 Hundred… get it 🫠) the monthly and annual subscription plans till August 31.

Use the coupon code “1stAnniversary” at checkout.

Of course, as reader, you likely already are a paid user. I hope you’ll upgrade. But if you’re all set, that’s great too. Perhaps you can spread the word?

No matter what, Nikhil and I want to thank you for being part of Hirevire’s first year. We look forward to helping you with your hiring for years to come.

I actually built RecoverKit to automate exactly this — Day1/Day3/Day7 dunning emails triggered automatically when a Stripe payment fails. Connect your Stripe account in 30 seconds: tryrecoverkit.com/connect. No code, free during beta. Happy to set it up with you personally today if you want to see what it recovers.

Nice milestone at $14k MRR — screening automation is clearly needed. One thing worth checking at this scale: involuntary churn from failed Stripe payments. Subscription SaaS at your stage typically loses 8-12% of revenue annually to card declines that never get recovered. Customers don't cancel — they just silently disappear when retries fail. A Day1/Day3/Day7 dunning sequence can recover 40-60% of those. How are you handling payment failures on the subscription side currently?
