This looks useful, especially the Eagle export and AI tagging. Those two features make Image Harvest feel less like a generic downloader and more like a workflow tool for people doing visual research.

One thing I’d tighten is the buyer frame.

Right now the product has a lot of strong features: filters, ZIP export, reverse search, similar detection, Eagle sync, AI tags. But the page/post may be making users process the feature list before they understand the exact job.

The strongest angle might be something like:

“Collect, organize, and reuse visual references from any webpage in minutes.”

That speaks more directly to designers, marketers, SEO researchers, moodboard builders, and e-commerce people than “batch download images.”

I’d also be careful with the pricing story because you’ve tested one-time, monthly, yearly, lifetime, and now Pro limits. That’s fine, but the public positioning should make the upgrade reason very obvious: save research time, organize assets faster, and avoid manual image hunting.

If useful, I can put together a compact written breakdown on the clearest buyer segment, pricing frame, Chrome Web Store positioning, and a simple 7-day user acquisition test for Image Harvest.

May 10, 2026 Image Harvest v1.0.2 — i18n, Free Pro Trial & Batch URL Copy

Hey everyone — quick update on Image Harvest, the privacy-first Chrome extension that batch-downloads images from any webpage (including CSS backgrounds, lazy-loaded sources, Shadow DOM, and iframes).

🌍 5 languages — English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Spanish. Auto-detects your browser language.

💎 7-day free Pro trial — New installs automatically unlock all Pro features for a week. No credit card, no catch. Try multi-tab extraction, similar image detection, format conversion, collections, and 4-engine reverse search before deciding.

📋 Batch copy URLs — Select images → one click → all URLs on your clipboard (newline-separated). Perfect for docs, chat, SEO research.

🔁 Payment upgrade — Switched from PayPal to Creem for better global coverage (especially Asia). Same pricing: $2.99/mo · $19.99/yr · $39.99 lifetime.

🐛 8 UI fixes — narrow sidebar overflow, settings scroll, Pro badge persistence, tab-switch flicker, and more.

May 1, 2026 Image Harvest — why I shipped a Chrome extension at $9.9 one-time instead of $4/mo subscription (and the breakeven math that decided it)

Image Harvest is a Chrome extension that does deep image extraction from any webpage — including the 60-80% of images that "save all" tools miss because they're inside Shadow DOM widgets, CSS background-images, or lazy-loaded sources. Free up to 50 images/session, $9.9 one-time for unlimited + perceptual deduplication.

Built it because I do visual research as part of work and was spending 3-4 hours a week downloading reference images. Existing tools all silently failed on the same edge cases.
