This is really cool! Personally, I would use it. The UI is clean and minimal which i really love and also reading stories doesn't require signup. That's awesome!

May 26, 2020 Built email newsletter subscriptions for writers

Blogging is the backbone of the internet. We're hoping to connect the fragmented blogging ecosystem with a new feature: Imprint subscriptions.

Email newsletters are the heart of any blog. They enable writers to retain their audiences, rather than lose them after reading one post. Newsletters also reward writers for consistently producing quality content that readers love.

Our subscription feature was built similar to YouTube's. Simply subscribe to blogs you love, and you'll be able to stay on top of great stories published by your favorite authors. New content from blogs you're subscribed to will be sent to the email you used to sign up for Imprint. You can subscribe to as many blogs as you want via the built in subscribe button on the bottom of every blog.

If you're a writer, all new posts will automatically be sent out as an email newsletter to all your subscribers. We'll also release a feature soon for writers to choose whether or not a post will be sent out via newsletter.

We're confident that this is a huge step towards helping writers build strong audiences, and helping readers find content they love. If you have any feedback, we'd be thrilled to hear it in the comments of this post or at hello@imprint.to!

About

I've been frustrated with centralized blogging platforms like Medium, and I've also realized that products like Wordpress and Ghost can be overkill for people looking to just set up a blog and grow an audience.
