Startup Themed Bookmark Sets
I finally shipped the MVP of Teemzo — a dead simple 360 review tool for small teams and startups who don’t want to spend lots of time and money configuring complex HR software.
This idea started when I had to run mid-year reviews for my team and ended up duct-taping together Google Forms, Sheets, and Docs. It sucked. So I built what I wished I had back then.
Easy pre-made simple questions to get self assessments, peer reviews, and manager assessments
Easy interface for manager to read self reviews and peers
AI feature that makes it easy to summarize everyone's feedback in a condensed way and for the manager to edit the results of the review
Takes < 30 minutes for a manager to run a full 360 review
Goal: 20 completed reviews and 5 paying users by the end of June.
Would love feedback on:
Is the landing page clear?
Would you use this if you ran a team?
Any tips on where to find early users?
Appreciate any thoughts or insights. Still trying to do early testing and acquire early users. It has a price, but it's currently free and open for anyone to test out.

I'm pumped about this! It was just yesterday that I was trying to think about what I'm doing wrong with my store setup, SEO, conversions, etc...
I have the bookmark set in stores and I'm working on a cobranding deal with a coworking space, but this was the first time someone I didn't know bought a set from my ecommerce website. It's pretty cool.

My first online sale came a few days after I shared the store with my network on Twitter and LinkedIn. One sale was from a colleague at work and another was from a friend.
What is absolutely wild about this is I gave 100% off discount codes to a few friends and I got 0 orders from them. Zero at 100% off.
Getting sales is hard. Even when you give things away for free, it's hard to sell a product.

https://inspiremarks.com went from a vague idea in my head a few short weeks ago to a live product that you can buy and purchase online. There was learning every step of the way. I had to learn how to design a print product. I had to learn how to set up a shopify store. I had to learn how to take photos. I had to learn how to work with a printer.
I'm extremely proud of the product that I was able to create. Now, I need to work even harder to make sure people can find it and enjoy the set as much as I enjoy it.

I love to read and I love startups. I realized I needed to get proper bookmarks when I got a dirty look in a coffeeshop because I was using a piece of toilet paper as a bookmark.
