I have started to use umami for analytics a few months ago, so I'll share the stats that I have:
Today on April 16th 2025, I have had 689 successful payments, and 2 disputes.

Nothing to be continued. I did not complete the solution to convert more free users, but that's fine.
I have started to have info box on the navigation bar about the option to advertise on the site. When clicking the button, an email pops up with some info I have prefilled. Around 10 has clicked the button and send the mail, but no one has responded to my follow-up, so I'm wondering if those were just bots, or if they just wanted to see my reply.

The last few months, interestinsights seems to have been picked up by a few pakistani and indian social media accounts with a few thousands followers each. Which have increased the amount of created users significantly, but haven’t resulted in additional payments. That’s on me.
We have also initiated another affiliate partner, counting a total of 2.
Today on April 22nd 2024, I have had 504 payments, and the first dispute, which was very expensive.

I'm mainly maintaining interestinsights, and not actively developing new features, but a new project I'm working on, is to be implemented in interestinsights, to create a better platform, and increase conversion.

yes, I had Adsconcierge.com a tool to easily manage social ads.
you mentioned in some of your posts, that most of your audience/emails was spanish language, and that's my target audience.
I'm in the early users stage, collecting users to try the tool
partnerships: some cross collaboration, like include your tool as a feature of my tool, or similar. I'm open to your thoughts.
My gap, is that I only have 3k users in my list and want to get more to make my email storytelling and tool more efficient

Since September 16th 2021, I have tried a few thing with the pricing, and I have been impatient. I tried the following:
16/9 - 2021:
- Monthly: 29€ (0 active subscriptions)
- Yearly: 261€ (0 active subscriptions)
22/9 - 2021:
- Monthly: 19€ (0 active subscriptions)
- Yearly: 171€ (0 active subscriptions)
25/11 - 2021:
- Monthly: 9€ (4 active subscriptions)
- Yearly: 81€ (7 active subscriptions)
1/9 - 2022:
- Monthly: 19€ (12 active subscriptions)
- Yearly: 171€ (2 active subscriptions)
Today on April 16th 2023, I have had 308 payments (All time).

I'm still not actively developing new features, just maintaining the server and the dependencies to make sure everything is up to date. Monitoring the activity.
It is a nice project to have running. It helps a lot of people, mostly the free users, since the most active users are on the free plan.
It is paying for server costs of all of my projects and expenses for domains and everything else. That is perfect.
On September 16th 2021 I offered a paid/premium version of something I had created, for the first time, since I have started to create things by myself.
It was on the same day that I got my first payment of something I have made by myself. It was an incredible day, and an unbelievable experience.
Today on April 16th 2022, I have had 104 payments.

My conversion rate of free users, to paid users is, as you can see, pretty low, but the amount of money interestinsights is making, is way beyond what I had expected, and pays for all of my expenses for all my projects, with plenty left over.
I'm still maintaning interestinsights, but my focus has shifted. interestinsights will forever be the benchmark for the rest of my projects and I hope my next project can be even bigger!

Frank, looks like you've spent alot of time into the project. Have you tried using your product to promote your project to find paid customers?
It's been a busy & chaotic year, personally and professionally.
At the end of last years summer I was developing a new big feature to automate Facebook campaigns, but I took quite some time, and I got a little burned out, so it's currently still in progress, but not done yet.
In the same period, I got a new job, had personal issues, which slowed down the development even further.
Fast forward to 2021, the search algorithm for interests have been improved and is now better than ever, I have gotten yet another job, and my personal life is better than ever before.
Consistency is key, but breaks are allowed and a result of that is more than 6K users and a grateful and happy founder.

I announce new features -- but the last announcement was almost a year ago. To be honest I'm not aware where most of my users have heard about interestinsights. 90% of the traffic is either organic or direct traffic, where most is from Spanish-speaking countries.
My best bet is SEO, since I can't find any articles about interestinsights and just a few backlinks.But thank you very much -- I'm really proud!

Every morning after I wake up, I check if there have been any problems with the server, users have gotten some errors and my mail to see if any users have contacted me. Then I proceed to check if there has been any activity on the website, while I have been asleep, it gives me inspiration and motivation to get going again.
Today I'm extra motivated.
The users count was 1001.
I couldn't believe it. I check the stats every day, and have been closing in on 1000 users for a while. But seeing it happen, is unreal.
Today is gonna be a great day!

Yep, it's about fashion, and it also a way to start my Brand.
I'm a tech guy but I love fashion and I try to do it anytime I have free time for 3 years already.Recently, I think I need to share something interesting, something useful for customers, not only a place for them to purchase stuffs, nor a landing page to run ads campaign and get sales but a story to motivate people and to understand my brand, my vision clearly.
It's really hard for me at this moment, to be honest, I'm still learning about fashion, my design is referencing from many things that personally I like.
I will write down how I start, how I learn new knowledge and adjusting my plan and vision. I hope it interesting and useful for our customers :D

A month ago I reached out to the digital marketing community and asked if they were facing any unsolved issues, that they would like solved. I got a few suggestions and connected with a person who had a problem, he wanted solved:
“FB Insights tracks retention for each video. It shows on a graph, at what point along the length of the video users drop off. Retention data is useful in improving the quality of our videos. But you can only see this for one video at the time.”
He wanted to be able to compare the audience retention graph of multiple videos on one chart, and so the idea was born.
I started developing a prototype right away, submitted it to Facebook, and got approved. Together we tested it and with his feedback we reached the product that is being launched today!
Some of our features:
- Compare multiple videos metrics, including audience retention graph
- Connect multiple accounts and compare videos across pages and accounts.
- Overall and page specific statistics
- View and control your videos from the chart.

Yesterday we had our 900th user signup, just 17 days after we reached 800 users.
Im very proud of this growth and the fact that more people than one (me) is using interestinsights :)
Our next goal is to launch another feature soon, which I’m excited to announce!

We just got our 800th registered user on interestinsights!
2 weeks ago I launched a new big feature (Group alerts).
I announced it on every possible platform I could think of, took the day of at my job so I could support and fix bugs if necessary.
I was ready! I had previously had great success with launching on Product Hunt, however this time I wasn’t featured on the front page, and got 5 likes on launch day.
It was a positive launch nonetheless, slow, but positive with a few extra signups than usual, and discovered a large bug at the end of the day.
Despite all this, old and new users keeps coming, and today I’m celebrating 8 fucking hundred users!!
