Pioneer.app progress

For more than ten months we've been participating in Pioneer community (it's similar to IH, but based on status updates and leaderboards). Since then we've got tons of valuable feedback and reached to one of the top 10 positions. Fingers crossed on becoming a pioneer.

I see you've 'become a pioneer' now, how has that helped/benefited you since?

I've recently joined and I'm enjoying the tournament so far, but I've only been on it 4 weeks and would love to know more of what it's been like 😊 e.g. how long were you in global top 50 before becoming a pioneer, did you have many expert reviews before hand, what was the quality of feedback during the expert reviews like, have you manage to gain valuable insights from your self-chosen 'advisors' etc?

I've been in the top 10 for ~10 weeks before being picked as new Pioneers.

Some feedback was helpful, they recently improved the system.

I connected with the 3 advisors. 2 were helpful, the other one didn't like the product (didn't try to understand it, idk).

Overall, I think Pioneer helps to develop a healthy routine.

Thanks for getting back so quickly :) Indeed the habit/routine forming, and just 'being accountable' is a very appealing aspect of the process. I also find the peer feedback can be really helpful.

Interesting insight on the advisors - I wondered if that was a common occurrence as some of the available advisors just don't necessarily have domain experience or interests that align with certain projects.

We've climbed the rankings quite quickly, which is reassuring, but it did make me wonder if that's quite common, and afterwards once you're in the top 50 (or 10!) you have to really keep it up for a long time to impress the experts/advisors/adjudicators etc. Judging by your experience that seems likely.

So, are you now due to do the 'Pioneer Livestream'? I'm super curious to hear about what that's like, remote demo day is a curious concept.

Yes, I think it really comes to just sticking with that. This is what Pioneer expects and they're generally slow-paced.

          Not sure.

          Me too :)
