Leadex
AI lead research agent for B2B sales teams
After watching SDRs at three different companies copy-paste between Apollo, Sales Navigator, Crunchbase and a spreadsheet for hours every morning, I got tired of the same pattern. We'd describe an audience in plain English to each other, then translate it into 8 filter dropdowns across 3 tools. So I built the translator.
Leadex takes a brief like "fintechs in France that just raised, hiring SDRs, with a VP Sales who switched in the last 90 days," drafts a research plan, runs it on the open web, enriches via your own Apollo/HubSpot keys, and returns a CSV. You can stop or re-prompt mid-run.
A few decisions that probably matter to this crowd:
Real time data. We are searching the web the same moment to ensure the signals are fresh.
Enrich with BYOK Apollo. First we get the context, and only then the contacts
Still in beta. Drop a message to support with any request.
What I'm still figuring out:
Activation. ~30% of new accounts ship a list in their first session; the rest stall around the plan-approval step. Looking for ideas.
Pricing clarity. "API call + your provider cost" is obvious to engineers, opaque to sales leaders. Hit me with how you've explained usage-billing without a per-seat anchor.
Open to feedback, especially from anyone running outbound or who's solved the usage-billing pricing-clarity puzzle.
