What did I do?

  • I added a German app name and keywords for ASO.
  • I reached out to some people interested in apps to keep in touch on Reddit.

What's up next?

I'm working on a really long list / knowledge base on everything you need to know about personal relationships. I plan to share this in various related groups.

    Congrats!

Do you do much marketing in Berlin/Germany? I'm also here but focused on English content at the moment.

It's just an experiment with the German App Store. I still have way too many things to do / try and limited time.

This IH podcast episode https://www.indiehackers.com/podcast/149-greg-rog-of-learnux explains what advantages adapting to your local market can have.

      • You provide a better experience to those locals.
      • You can potentially get in person feedback vs just online.
      • It's easier to compete on a local level versus other players.
      • Maybe for some things there's a market that needs the local language as they can't access it with English.

But all this depends. I looked quickly at what you do. I guess that almost everyone interested in using such a product speaks English. But still you would probably be the only one doing such a thing at an Berlin or German conference. While on the internet you're competing with all players.
