myVAmatch
AI-powered matching for hiring U.S.-based Virtual Assistants
Most marketplaces try to get demand first.
We didn’t.
We focused on building supply.
627 VAs applied
So before opening the doors, we already had a vetted pool.
The problem we’re trying to solve:
Hiring a VA is still weirdly painful.
You post a job → get flooded → spend hours sorting → interview → still not sure.
So we flipped it.
Entrepreneurs fill out a ~20-minute needs + preferences form
→ we match them with VAs who actually fit
No job posts
No resume piles
No long interview cycles
We’ve just opened to entrepreneurs.
Let’s go.
We didn’t launch to entrepreneurs first.
We built the supply.
592 VAs applied.
191 made it through screening and assessment.
A vetted, structured talent pool — ready to go.
We’re in final QA — then we open the doors.
We’re moving into full launch — opening to entrepreneurs.
This is the part that actually matters in a marketplace:
Does it work when real demand hits?
Matches. Speed. Fit.
That’s what we’re about to find out.

44 paying VAs.
Before entrepreneur launch.
Before ads.
• 44 paying subscribers at $25/mo
• ~$1.1k MRR
• Still pre-entrepreneur launch
What changed?
Validation.
People are paying to be part of a curated supply pool before demand is fully open.
That tells me:
– The positioning resonates.
– Charging early was the right move.
– Curation is the moat.
Now the focus shifts from building supply to testing real marketplace liquidity.
Bootstrapped. No VC. Just iteration.

Quick update.
So far:
300 VA applications
88 passed a pre-screen and selective assessment
Paid subscriptions only launched this week — and ~⅓ have already converted
This is still pre–entrepreneur launch and with no ad spend.
The real signal hasn’t been interest — it’s that people are willing to invest time, clear a bar, and pay before outcomes are guaranteed. That’s trust.
Next up: opening the entrepreneur side.

Most marketplaces wait for demand.
We monetized supply first.
We built myVAmatch — a curated marketplace for experienced U.S.-based VAs.
Before opening to entrepreneurs:
• 400 applicants
• 100 eligible
• 29 founding VAs subscribed
• $25/month
• $725+ MRR
• 0 entrepreneurs onboarded
VAs aren’t paying to bid or pitch.
They’re paying to:
Apply once
Get vetted
Stay visible inside a curated match pool
When entrepreneurs join, they unlock their top 3 matches instantly.
No job board.
No bidding.
No chasing.
Supply quality validated.
Willingness to pay validated.

So, I shared the myVAmatch job opportunity once in a single Facebook group.
That one post has brought in 111 VA applications so far.
Still early, but it’s been a strong signal while building out the talent pool.

After a couple of years of building quietly, I’m excited (and a little nervous) to finally put this out into the world.
Right now, we’re onboarding VAs and building the talent pool. We’ll be opening it up to entrepreneurs in February.
Happy to share lessons learned from building this slowly and intentionally — and always open to feedback from this community.

• In the quiet build phase right now — tightening the last details and finishing QA.
• Opening the talent pool to virtual assistants next so the VA side can start filling ahead of the Q1 entrepreneur launch.
• Making sure the VA side is solid before the entrepreneur launch in Q1.

I’ve been building this platform quietly for months, and seeing it live on the directory makes the launch feel real. It’s a small step, but it’s meaningful momentum as we head toward January.
Excited for what’s next.

After decades as an EA supporting founders and executives, I kept seeing the same hiring pain points repeat — job boards, ghosting, endless interviews, and overseas outsourcing that didn’t deliver the quality entrepreneurs needed.
I built myVAmatch to fix that.
It’s an AI-powered matching platform that connects entrepreneurs with vetted, U.S.-based premium Virtual Assistants in under 20 minutes — no job posts, no resumes, no interviews.
Built by an operator, not a recruiter.
Fast. Simple. Accurate. Premium.
