Notifizz - Notification center for SAAS

Increase user engagement with Notification center

May 10, 2026 Knock makes you redeploy. Customer.io duplicates your data. We built the third option.

I'm Jérémie, CTO of Notifizz. 3 founders. Bootstrapped. Built from France. We just turned down our first VC offer.

Here's the bet.

The notification market has two camps. Both are broken.

Camp 1: dev-only tools (Knock, Novu)

Every campaign means a code deployment. Every variable change is a ticket for engineering. Marketing is locked out by design.

Camp 2: marketing-first tools (Customerio, Braze)

6-month integration projects. Specialist consultants. Your entire user base mirrored into their cloud. You save engineering time and pay it back in GDPR exposure.

Result: dev, product, and marketing fight over the same notification from three different views.

Our bet: truly event-driven. Nobody actually does this today.

- Plug into any product event you already emit. No modification.

- Fetch fresh data at the moment of sending. No caching. No sync.

- Never duplicate the user base. Data stays in your infrastructure. Always.

Marketing ships a complex production campaign in 3 clicks. Devs keep full ownership of the events. Product sees everything in one cockpit.

Each team gets a dedicated AI agent for their workflow.

Where we are

- 3 co-founders (dev, stats, UX)

- Fully bootstrapped

- 1 pilot client live, not paying yet

- 0 paying customers

- 0 dollars raised, 1 VC offer declined

- GTM: France first, Italy from year 2

Our competitors are public companies and Series-B+ scale-ups. We're 3 people with no funding and no pressure to grow fast.

Going slow on purpose. This market needs patient, deep building. Not a runway clock.

Curious how other bootstrappers approach pacing when the incumbents have unlimited fuel. And for anyone who shipped notifications at scale: when did you realize your stack was wrong?

January 12, 2024 Why am I building Notifizz ? 🤔

I build a Notification Center, to embed in all web or mobile SaaS applications that require sending notifications to their users for better engagement. 💬💻

Why do I choose to build a Notification center Product: market, competitors, proof? 🤔💡

  1. Notification Market 📈💰

The notification market value is 10B in 2022. 20% growth is expected between 2023 and 2030. Software and services are 30% of the market. 💼💸

Source: https://grandviewresearch.com/industry-analysis/mass-notification-system-market#:~:text=The global mass notification system,21.4% from 2023 to 2030.

The market is mainly built around push notification, mobile notification center, and incentive notifications to pop up to website visitors' incentive offers. My project (still without name) focuses on a next segment: notifications to and from signed-up users only. This new segment is a risk because potentially need could not exists.

I have already needed it as CTO in 2 companies, and it was clearly a pain. Product owner, UX, and dev had no easy solution. Both times we ended with poor designed and poor featured notification solution with no full preference notification system and RGPD support. I was ready to pay 100/month if I found a solution that solved this mess. 💡💰💻

There are 30,000 SaaS companies in the world. 1,500 in France (interesting to look at my country). 🌎🇫🇷

  1. Competitors 🆚

All products that help with activation, retention, and referral are competitors. Lots of products here. 🤝👥

  1. Proof ✔️

I was very interested to discover that LinkedIn Growth is largely based on Notification. I share the screenshot but you can read more directly in the LinkedIn SlideShare. All their growth is explained. Ask in comments if you want the SlideShare link. 📈💼👀

  1. Next steps! 👉🏽🚀

Still have to define clear features, validate idea and achieve Product Market Fit!" 💪🏽💡

That's why we created https://notifizz.com
