I’ve been hacking on a small project over the past weeks called ChartFromText. The idea is simple:
Paste your data in plain text.
Choose a chart type.
Get a clean, ready-to-use chart instantly.
No Excel, no Google Sheets, no heavy BI tools. Just text → chart in seconds.
Why I built it
I often found myself needing quick charts for presentations, blog posts, or even brainstorming. Opening Excel felt like overkill, and online tools were either bloated or locked behind paywalls. I wanted something dead simple, so I scratched my own itch.
