December 17, 2025 I redesigned my SaaS after 10+ calls with agencies — here’s what I changed (and what I’m building next)

Hey Indie Hackers 👋
Quick update on Pinly, the visual feedback tool I shared here recently.

After my first post, I had several conversations with:

  • small web agencies (2–10 people),

  • software houses,

  • and freelancers working mainly with WordPress clients (Fiverr / Upwork style).

Those calls completely changed how I think about the product.

🎯 Clearer ICP

Pinly is not for everyone.

Right now, I’m focusing on:

  • small agencies (2–10 people)

  • WordPress-focused teams

  • freelancers working with non-technical clients

These teams all had the same problem:

Feedback comes from emails, WhatsApp, screenshots, voice messages — and nothing is actionable.

🎨 Landing page redesign

Based on that feedback, I:

  • moved away from a flashy design,

  • simplified the color palette,

  • clarified the main use case,

  • added dedicated subpages instead of one long generic landing.

The goal wasn’t “prettier” — it was clearer.

🧠 Product direction shift

The biggest insight from those calls:

Agencies don’t want another tool.
They want less explaining, less chasing, fewer misunderstandings.

That’s why I’m now redesigning the entire dashboard to feel:

  • calmer,

  • more “agency-friendly”,

  • less like a dev tool, more like a workflow tool.

🧪 New ideas coming from real conversations

After talking to agency owners, I’m exploring features like:

  • better handoff between feedback → task,

  • clearer client vs internal comments,

  • workflows tailored specifically for agencies and freelancers.

I’m intentionally not building everything yet — validating first.

🙏 Looking for feedback (again)

If you run:

  • a small agency,

  • a WordPress-based workflow,

  • or work with non-technical clients,

I’d love your thoughts on:

  • what part of feedback collection wastes the most time for you?

  • what would make a tool like this a no-brainer?

December 7, 2025 I built a tool to finally fix the chaos of client feedback as a freelance web developer

Hey Indie Hackers 👋
I’m Mateusz, a freelance web developer from Poland.

For years, the most frustrating part of my work wasn’t coding - it was collecting feedback from clients and testers.

You know how it goes:
Screenshots in emails.
Random messages on Slack or WhatsApp.
Zero context.
“I saw a bug but now I can’t reproduce it.”
Videos recorded vertically on a phone… 😅

It was eating hours of my time every week.

So a few months ago I decided to build something that would solve this once and for all.

Introducing Pinly

Pinly lets clients and testers leave comments directly on your website - without installing anything or creating an account.
You just send them a single link.

Each comment automatically includes:

  • a screenshot of the exact moment,

  • a 30-second screen recording before the click,

  • browser, OS, resolution,

  • console errors & warnings,

  • plus a built-in Kanban board for managing tasks.

The idea is simple:
Less chasing. More clarity. Faster fixes.

I’m about to launch on Product Hunt

This is my first big launch, so I’m both excited and a little nervous.

I’d love honest feedback from the Indie Hackers community:

  • Does this solve a real problem you’ve faced?

  • Anything unclear or missing on the landing page?

  • What should I focus on next?

About

For years, collecting feedback from clients was the most painful part of every project — screenshots in emails, chaotic messages, videos sent on WhatsApp… zero context. So I built Pinly to fix this. One link, and client
