SEYFR
Send Your Files Right.
Email is convenient until the attachment is a video.
Gmail caps attachments at 25MB, while Outlook and iCloud Mail cap them at 20MB. A minute of 4K video can already be hundreds of megabytes, and longer exports quickly reach several gigabytes.
That is why we built large-file transfer into SEYFR.
What SEYFR changes
SEYFR transfers the original video between devices rather than compressing it for messaging or uploading it to cloud storage first.
No artificial file-size limit
No video compression or re-encoding
No account required
No advertising
Transfer speed depends on the devices and network connection
Available across iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows, and Linux
Send a large video from a phone
Select Send.
Choose Videos and select the video you want to send.
SEYFR generates a QR code and secure token. Share either one with the receiver.
Send a large video from a desktop
Select Send.
Drag the video onto the S, or click the S to open the file picker and select it.
SEYFR generates a QR code and secure token. Share either one with the receiver.
Receive the video
On Mac, Windows, or Linux: select Receive, paste the token, optionally choose a destination folder, and click Receive.
On iPhone or Android: select Receive, scan the QR code or paste the token, click Receive, then save the video to Photos.
This works for phone recordings, 4K exports, ProRes footage, RAW video, project archives, and other large files.
Cross-platform examples
An iPhone video can go to a Windows PC without AirDrop or iTunes. An Android video can go to a Mac without relying on Android File Transfer.

What is the largest file you regularly need to move, and which two devices are involved?
Moving photos from Android to Mac should be simple, but the usual options introduce cables, MTP problems, cloud quotas, or compressed images.
Here is the correct SEYFR workflow.
1. Install SEYFR on both devices
Install SEYFR on your Android phone and Mac.
2. Send from Android
Open SEYFR and select Send.
Choose Photos, then select the photos you want to send.
SEYFR generates a QR code and secure token. Share the token with the Mac receiver.
3. Receive on the Mac
Open SEYFR and select Receive.
Paste the token from the Android phone.
If needed, choose a destination folder.
Click Receive.
Photo formats are preserved
SEYFR transfers the original files rather than converting them, including JPEG, RAW, HEIC, HEIF, PNG, WEBP, GIF, and high-resolution photos.
This avoids USB mode, charge-only cable, MTP, and driver problems. It also avoids uploading a camera roll to cloud storage just to move it to a nearby Mac.

Google's Android File Transfer app has a reputation for failing at exactly the wrong time—especially on newer Macs and Android versions. If it will not connect, open, or show your files, here are five fixes worth trying.
1. Change the USB mode on Android
Open USB preferences and change the connection from charging to File Transfer (MTP).
2. Try a real data cable
Many USB-C cables only provide power. Try a cable specifically rated for data transfer.
3. Restart Android File Transfer
Quit the application completely, unplug the phone, reconnect it, unlock the phone, and reopen the app.
4. Approve access on the phone
Tap Allow if Android asks for access to phone data or whether to trust the computer.
5. Reinstall the application
A damaged or outdated installation can cause connection errors. Reinstalling Android File Transfer may help.
Use SEYFR as a wireless alternative
SEYFR avoids the MTP-over-USB dependency and transfers the original files without an account, cloud storage, file-size limit, or compression.
Send from Android
Open SEYFR and select Send.
Choose Photos, Videos, Files, Documents, or a full Folder.
SEYFR generates a QR code and secure token. Share the token with the Mac receiver.
Receive on the Mac
Open SEYFR and select Receive.
Paste the token.
Optionally choose a destination folder.
Click Receive.

When we set out to build Seyfr, the mission was simple but incredibly ambitious: we wanted to create a world where moving a file from your iPhone to your Windows PC, or from your Linux machine to an Android tablet, felt like magic. No cables, no compression, no sketchy third-party cloud servers, and absolutely no configuration.
Just true, peer-to-peer, end-to-end encrypted file sharing.
We knew it was a tool that we desperately needed. What we didn't expect was how quickly the rest of the world would agree.
A Global Response in 7 Days
It has only been one week since we silently pushed the first iteration of Seyfr live. Without a massive marketing budget or flashy launch campaigns, we just put it out there for developers, creators, and everyday users who were tired of emailing files to themselves.
The response has been nothing short of staggering.
Within days, we saw our telemetry light up (completely anonymized, of course—your files are none of our business). We watched as nodes came online not just in our local neighborhoods, but across the globe.
As of this morning, Seyfr is actively being used to securely transfer files in:
The United States 🇺🇸
The United Kingdom 🇬🇧
Mexico 🇲🇽
Finland 🇫🇮
The Dominican Republic 🇩🇴
Uganda 🇺🇬
Germany 🇩🇪
Poland 🇵🇱
Seeing our application bridge the gap between devices across oceans and continents in its very first week is a profoundly humbling experience. It validates the core philosophy behind Seyfr: file sharing is universally broken, and people everywhere are hungry for a tool that just works.
Why is Seyfr Resonating?
If you look at the landscape of file sharing today, it's fragmented. Apple's AirDrop is incredible, but it traps you in a walled garden—try AirDropping a video to a Windows PC. On the other end of the spectrum, cloud services like Google Drive or Dropbox require you to upload your personal files to a massive corporate server just to download them on a device sitting two feet away.
Seyfr cuts out the middleman entirely.
By leveraging cutting-edge peer-to-peer technology and a content-addressed strategy, Seyfr creates a direct, secure tunnel between your devices. Your files never rest on a server. They fly straight from the Senders Device to the Receiver's device, at the maximum speed your network allows.
Thank You to Our Early Adopters
Thank You to Our Early Adopters
To everyone relying on our Windows app and adopting Seyfr on Android across the US, UK, Mexico, Finland, the Dominican Republic, Uganda, Germany, and Poland: Thank you.
You are the vanguard. You trusted a brand new application with your workflows, and your early feedback is the lifeblood of our development process.
We are moving at breakneck speed. Just this week, we polished our Windows and Android experiences to a mirror shine, and we are currently pending final approval from the Apple Developer Program to bring native iOS and macOS (M-Series and Intel) support to the Seyfr ecosystem.
The Future of File Sharing
This is just week one. Our roadmap is packed with features designed to make Seyfr not just the most secure way to send files, but the absolute fastest and most intuitive experience across every platform on earth.
If you haven't tried it yet, head over to seyfr.jitpomi.com and download it for your platform today.
Send your files right. Keep them safe. And let us know what you think.
(Are you one of our early adopters? We want to hear from you! Drop us a line at dev@jitpomi.com and tell us how Seyfr is fitting into your workflow.)

SEYFR exists because something as simple as sharing files has become unnecessarily complicated, restrictive, and dependent on systems most people do not control.
I’ve experienced the frustration myself, and I’ve watched people around me struggle with it too.
Why should private wedding photos have to live on a billion-dollar company’s servers just so family members can receive them? Why should sharing a conference talk, a design file, or a personal document require handing that data to platforms that permanently store, analyze, or monetize it?
Why do files lose quality when sent through certain services? Why is direct peer-to-peer sharing still unreliable or impossible for so many people, especially across different regions and devices? Why do we normalize sending sensitive information through platforms where “deleted” often only means hidden from the user?
For many people around the world — especially in places with unstable internet infrastructure, expensive bandwidth, or limited cloud access — file sharing is still harder than it should be.
SEYFR was created from the belief that people deserve simpler and more respectful tools.
We believe file sharing should feel direct, private, high-quality, and human. Your files should belong to you. Your memories, conversations, passwords, presentations, and creative work should not need to pass through layers of unnecessary dependency just to reach another person.
At JITPOMI, we build software to help people make progress through their work and lives — not replace them or trap them inside ecosystems they cannot control.
SEYFR is our attempt to bring some simplicity, dignity, and ownership back to something as basic as sharing files.
