Everyone, my experiment to avoid bankruptcy did not succeed. Raising 4000 dollars turned out to be an impossible task.:). I put a lot of effort into Sova, an offline object detection tool with 95 percent accuracy, hoping it would help me get out of debt. However, there were no sales.Now Sova is free, I have set the price to 0 dollars. The tool is quite interesting: it runs on Python, uses TensorFlow and Tkinter, and works completely offline. Listing "SOVA" on platforms like Gumroad and IndieHackers turned out to be like trying to sell a ship at a kite festival.
There's plenty of wind, plenty of dreams — but almost no buyers.
I reached out to those who create, not to those who pay.
And the difference between these two groups is like that between a poet and a publisher: one is inspired, the other is busy with reports.
